Ca'n Llimoner is situated in the beautiful Mediterranean village of Deia, famous for its picture postcard stone built houses with terracotta roofs. The heart of Deia clusters around the romantic 13th century Church of St John the Baptist built atop a rugged hill which provides stunning views of the sea across olive groves clinging to precariously steep terraces. On a peaceful side of the village, away from any road noise is villa Ca'n Llimoner; with magnificent panoramic views across the mountains, village, church and the Mediterranean Sea. Being one of few houses in the village to have a private swimming pool, Ca'n Llimoner is the ultimate place to relax, unwind and savour the Mallorcan lifestyle. The villa has been luxuriously finished. Throughout there is a traditional Mallorcan style with high ceilings, wooden beams, white walls, real fireplace and cool and easy terracotta floors. Recently completely refurbished and redecorated with beautiful furniture and fixtures, the villa is an oasis of both calm and comfort, inside and out. Exceptionally well equipped to provide you with every home comfort, Ca'n Llimoner has a boutique five star feel. The accommodation comprises of an extremely comfortable, light and airy sitting room, spacious dining room, and well-equipped large kitchen-breakfast room. There is a downstairs cloakroom, three beautifully furnished bedrooms (all ensuite and air conditioned), including one bedroom on the ground floor for easy access. The Master bedroom has a luxury bathroom with 'wet room' walk in shower. There is also a private balcony with seating off the Master bedroom with captivating views to the Church. There are French doors out from the kitchen and dining room onto the shaded terrace – a perfect place to dine.Cots and highchairs are available on request. There is on street parking freely available (very precious in Deia); however the villa is perfectly located for the village shops and restaurants which are only a short stroll away, so the house is ideal for guests who do not wish to use a car during their stay. Ca'n Llimoner has a private swimming pool and picturesque terraces again with lovely views of the mountains and the sea. There are six sun loungers and two parasols, gas BBQ and a large outside dining table to accommodate eight people. From just outside the entrance to the house you can pick up the infamous scenic coastal footpath which takes you to the village beach, Cala Deia which is 20 minutes' rugged walk away, down a long cobbled donkey pathway. The beach restaurant is popular with locals and visitors, as is the rest of Deia with a huge range of sublime places to dine. From the humble village café (our favourite) to the world famous La Residencia or the Michelin starred Sebastian's.Unfortunately changes made to European satellite settings by UK and Spanish TV have resulted in weaker signals for British Sky TV channels in Mallorca. To counterbalance this we have installed a larger satellite dish, but signals are still prone to weakness and we cannot guarantee that satellite TV will be available at all times. Regretfully this is totally out of our control. Inclement weather and heavy cloud over the mountains can also affect the signal and occasionally the Sky signal will scramble temporarily. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Balearic Islands region
The name of Deia (or Deya) comes from the time of the Moorish conquest of Mallorca, back in the 10th-13th centuries. The Muslims called the area 'Ad-Daya' which means 'village'. They were the ones who created the terraced irrigation systems that allowed the steep hillsides to be cultivated. Olive trees flourished up to an altitude of 600 metres, and today cover much of the hillsides above the town.
Deia has famously attracted artists, musicians and those in search of a bohemian lifetsyle since the 19th century. The Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria was so captivated by the area that he purchased several estates - Miramar, Son Marroig - which host annual festivals & concerts and are open to the public. Robert Graves was a famous resident, and his house Ca N'Alluny has been turned into a beautiful village museum and gardens for the public to enjoy.
Deia is situated on Mallorca's North West Coast, about 35 minutes drive from Palma Airport. The pretty village of Valldemossa is 10 km south of Deia, whilst Soller with its quaint tram running through the town down to the port and also direct to Palma, is 10 km to the north. The village of Deia is unique with a natural beauty and charm unchanged by time. Surrounded by olive and citrus groves, the area has attracted artists and romantics for many years; the poet Robert Graves, and many celebrities to this day, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Richard Branson and Michael Douglas. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from, including 'El Olivo' at the famous La Residencia Hotel in the centre of the village. Cala Deia is a small unspoilt cove within walking distance of the house, about 5 minutes by car. Ideal for swimming, and with its rustic fish restaurant perched on the cliff overlooking the bay, perfect for a relaxed lunch. Deia is a self contained world, once there you feel little inclination to leave!
