Centrally heated & well appointed, the cottage is the perfect hideaway with a lovely garden (including patio seating area). A short walk from 4 pubs, tearooms and the Village shop yet tranquil and private. Stunning walks and the Purbeck way are literally on the doorstep.

“Lovely cottage in perfect location”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2017

Just returned from a week in Hill View Cottage. Can't fault it. Cosy and very comfortable. Took our terrier with us and he loved the dog proof garden! The cottage is perfectly located in the village and the ideal base for a week. We didn't need to drive far at all to find lots of places to visit and paths to walk. The parking space in nearby car park was great too. Thank you!!

“Idyllic cottage , relaxing weekend break”

Idyllic thatched cottage in the quaint village of Corfu Castle. Location fantastic, views of castle from garden, lovely quaint village , not too busy. Excellent tea rooms within five minute walk and two pubs. West coast path within four miles. Take the time to walk from Sandbanks along Studland Bay, Knowle bay , middle bay all a must. Swanage via steam train or car worth the visit.

“Perfect! Idyllic!”

I loved this little thatched cottage and didn't want to leave. The garden is so pretty and the house is all you could need for a relaxing holiday. I will definitely stay again. CorfeCastld village is just a perfect retreat, so picturesque and the whole of the surrounding area is breathtaking for its scenery. Outstanding natural beauty for sure!

Fabulous week met by friendly owners cottage very clean and comfortable and situated in a quiet part of a lovely picturesque village. Area was great for walking and very dog friendly will definitely return

“Perfect bit of escapism close to numerous attractions”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2017

The cottage was lovely, and even better than we were expecting. It's very roomy, has everything you'd expect, and is in near proximity to the village and castle. The town is lovely - very quiet generally but with plenty of people in the pubs, bakers and cafes who are all up for a chat. Mike and Gill were pretty much invisible until we left (in a positive way) and showed up right at the end to share some tips on the local area and say goodbye. Overall a great trip.

A love cottage with a lovely garden in a wonderful town. Very comfortable throughout but being a tall Person I did have to watch my head

“Fantastic cottage”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

The cottage itself is a beautiful place that's well maintained and in a really handy location for the village. We went with my 7yr old daughter too and she loved the thatched roof and easy access to the castle and play area too! Having wifi and freesat were nice surprises too, not that you really need them in such a place The local shop is well stocked and the nearby pubs offer very well priced, delicious food too. Highly recommended!

“Great location”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2012

Lovely clean cottage very well presented. Would definitely return and have no problem recommending this lovely little house to any one. It has one draw back and that is the kitchen is very tiny, making cooking a little bit of a challenge. It is a very old cottage and so it's to be expected that the rooms are small, it didn't detract from our stay. The location of this cottage was fabulous. Having the parking permit was also a great bonus, as was the internet. Corfe Castle is one of the most picturesque villages I have stayed in. Great walks into the centre every morning to get fresh bread from the bakers. Sadly the food in the Greyhound was very dissapointing, but lunch in the model village tea rooms was excellent. The castle it self was worth a visit and so was the train into Swannage. Studland beaches were stunning and the walk to Chapmans pool a great walk, but beware if you don't like heights, at the top of the hill (although it felt like a mountain) the view was great but scary walking down the side of the cliff.

“Wonderful stay in cosy cottage”

Recently stayed on August bank holiday. Cottage well located for castle, beaches etc.. Loved the cottage and decorated well with thoughtful items such as ipod dock radio in bedroom. Nice and clean. Owner very amenable, considerate and approachable. I came with a toddler and she can't wait to come back. Will return soon.

“Quaint little cottage, within 5 miles walk of the castle”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2012

Fantastic holiday, with some good sunshine. The cottage is within 5 min walk of the castle, and 4 pubs all offering good food and great hosts. Studland beach and Swange are all within a 15 min drive. Lullworth cove is a little further. Cottage is ideal for a small family, with good living space and a nice little garden too.
