Villa al Sur showcases current architectural design which, combined with a modern Boho style interior, creates a relaxed and welcoming ambience in an upscale chic environment. Situated on the hillside that leads down to the natural harbour of Souda Bay, on the Akrotiri peninsula of Chania, Villa al Sur enjoys beautiful natural views of the White Mountains and Souda bay in the distance. The 380 sq.m. residence spreads across 3 levels and features six generous bedrooms, accommodating 12 guests in their plush beds and up to 13 if required, while the 115 m2 private heated pool spanning the front of the villa beckons you to awake for a dip. A selection of beautiful beaches and bays, amenities and captivating Chania town are all within easy reach for those wanting to explore some of what the stunning island of Crete has to offer.

Layout

Ground Floor

The ground floor interior of Villa al Sur follows an open plan layout with natural flow between spaces. A squishy corner sofa and natural wood armchairs are waiting for you to sink into, where you can enjoy views out to the pool terrace or perhaps a movie on the 50” Smart TV. Large glass doors open to the outdoor dining table that seats 12 and the barbecue area, both under the shade of an overhead pergola. Further patio doors lead directly to the pool terrace. The main indoor dining table can be found next to the lounge area, seating 12 with views over the 25m aqua pool. A WC is also available, conveniently placed for communal use. The open plan kitchen offers an array of appliances suitable to prepare and cook your favourite dishes, as well as a n island counter flanked by 6 stools and a wine fridge, while patio doors lead to the pool terrace. Two bedrooms with Queen size beds (1,80 x 2,00) and 32” Smart TVs are located on the ground floor. The first bedroom has views and access to the pool terrace and a bathroom just a step beyond its door, with a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. The second bedroom has patio doors with access to the garden and an ensuite bathroom with a shower cubicle boasting a large overhead rainshower, sink and toilet.

First Floor

The first floor is interestingly split between 2 halves, each paying tribute to an ensuite bedroom, reached via its own independent staircase. Each of the first floor first ensuite bedrooms features a queen size bed (1,80 x 2,00) and 32” Smart TV. Triple aspect glass doors and a window grasp your attention with stunning views over Souda Bay and the white mountains which can also be enjoyed from the balconies. The views can also be witnessed from the ensuite bathrooms which boast large rain showers, sink and toilet.

Lower Floor

The last two en-suite bedrooms can be found on the lower floor, one at the end of each wing, each one offering a queen size bed (1,80 x 2,00) that can be separated to form two single beds (0,90x2,00) upon prior request. The fifth bedroom provides a comfortable, private space with a relaxation area, with a built-in sofa seating and coffee table with chairs, as well as an open plan en-suite bathroom with double vessel sinks and shower cabin incorporated into the main bedroom.

The open ensuite bathroom, built-in sofa seating and vanity area features add to the design of the sixth bedroom as well. It is a space to be enjoyed, offering privacy and a place to lounge. A single patio door opens to steps that lead to the outdoor seating area at the poolside. Here you will also find the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Finally, on this floor, you'll find the villa's sauna, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. Additionally, we offer a well-equipped gym area where you can maintain your fitness routine with amenities such as a treadmill, free weights, and TRX equipment.

Outdoor Area

The 2350 square metres of outside space wraps around the villa and incorporates a long swimming pool, gardens and outdoor living areas so you can enjoy warm days outdoors. The outdoor facilities include:

- A 115 m2 (25m x 4.5m) private swimming pool stretches across the width of the house, it’s aqua shimmer inviting you in. It provides a sloped access and graduated depth from 0,60 - 1,60m. The pool can be heated upon prior request, with an extra charge.

- A hydromassage area of the pool is separated from the main pool by a wooden bridge. With a depth of 0,90 and an internal seating area, you can enjoy some relaxing massage therapy from the bubbles.

- Sunbeds and umbrellas provide poolside comfort while a pergola creates shade.

- A built in outdoor seating area under a pergola is sure to be a firm base for poolside drinks.

- The gas barbecue with a seating area next to it encourages al fresco grilling.

- Relax at the outdoor dining table, seating 12, for some long, lazy meals.

- A lawned area is available poolside and gravel garden with local plants at the rear.

- Private parking within the villa grounds.
