“Picture Perfect” This review is echoed in part in the Guest book at the Villa. I hope that all who read it who want to enjoy a thoroughly relaxing break will take heed. Levente is one of the Easterly winds that blows through Crete from around April heralding the coming of delicious warm weather. Not only was the Levantes villa picture perfect, a rare find as a lot of villa hunters will know but it was spotless, protected in an enclosed site and had stunning views of mountains, sea and Cretan living. We were met by Harris who gave us a tour of the villa and all the goodies in the welcome pack, made some recommendations for days out and places to eat. He was relaxed and positively charming and my husband and he spent some time talking about a book that he was very trustingly lent on a previous visit to Crete in another part of the Island. Next we met Stefanos, equally as charming and helpful. We had only been in residence 3 days but Stefanos told us that someone would be there to change the bedding and clean the villa and he would clean the pool. I cannot speak highly enough of the attention to detail that had gone into the Villa both on the decorative and equipment for living side. Harris arrived during that day with a book that he had chosen, bought, wrapped and bowed for Graham about a local man and how he had delat with the subject of their earlier conversation had been about. An exceptionally generous thought and gesture. We were sorry to leave but will return and our only regret was that we did not meet the boys parents, pperhaps that is for next time. Harris, Stefanos - Thank you so very much. Graham did swim in the pool, I did not, so I have to come back to experience swimming under the glass floor! Our best wishes for a successful year.
