Résidence Villa 3 is a recently refurbished, 2/3 bedroomed duplex apartment (including an open mezzanine bedroom) on the top two floors of a traditional Chamonix building. The lower floor comprises an open plan living and dining area with a double sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom, a luxury shower room and a second full bathroom. On the upper level there is a further twin bedroom and a single mezzanine room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make self-catering easy. There is no lift in the building and a walk up three levels of stairs is required to reach the front door of the apartment.

Tthe apartment has its own washing machine and there is plenty of hanging space to dry items or there is a full self-service launderette near the entrance to the apartment block.

“Assessment of property”

The apartment was ready for immediate occupation with everything working well [electricity and heating on]. The beds were made up and the apartment was clean.The views from all the windows were superb - great view of the Aiguille Midi capturing the morning sunlight on the summit. The location was ideal for walking the short distance into the centre with many restaurants close by. The boulangerie in the adjoining block is a must for early morning collection of baguettes, croissants etc. Having a reserved underground car space was particularly useful in Chamonix, where finding somewhere to leave your vehicle near the centre is both difficult and expensive.

“Well equipped and well located apartment”

This was the first time we have stayed in Chamonix and were delighted with the location of the apartment near to the Plan de l'Aiguille cable car and the Chamonix Sud bus stop, plus a great patisserie, just beside the main entrance to the apartment and several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The apartment was well equipped for 8 people although we were only 4. Personally I would prefer no more than 6 to stay there as a family but a group of 8 young friends would probably find it fine. At the time of year we went it was a lot quieter as it was between seasons although it suited us fine to take the bus or train along the valley - we bought a a 2 euro ticket from the tourist board which allowed us 'free' travel on both train or bus for the week. We fitted in a high level walk taking the cable car to Aiguille du Midi and then walked over the the Mer du Glace where you could get the train down or walk down. Valley walks were lovely too.

“Excellent apartment well equipped and in a great location”

I was somewhat nervous having never before booked through this organisation but my fears were not justified. The booking and checking in procedures were very smooth. Good service from the Sno-station team who also arranged discounted ski-passes that were waiting for us in the apartment on our arrival. We really appreciated the fact that the apartment has its own garage in the cellar, which was wide and easy to park - a must considering the central location in town. Also very useful was the ski rental show - right next door !. The apartment was well equipped so we found everything we needed...Even Wifi access !!. The only negative was the 4 flights of stairs to negotiate after a hard day's skiing....but we didnt care. Will definitely come again - Thanks James

“Great modern facilities in a very central location”

The flat is located very close to the centre of Chamonix (shops and restaurants), the central bus stop and also close to the Aiguille de Midi cable car. This makes it a perfect location for all outdoor activities available in Chamonix. The flat has very modern furnishings (including wifi and a washing machine) and also has two bathrooms, which was really useful. This is a great flat, highly recommended.
