Beautiful Chalet with Stunning Views

10 of us stayed here last week for a skiing holiday. We were 3 couples and 4 singles and we all had our own room (one was a small bunk room, not much room, but ok for a week). The single bedrooms did have 2 beds in them but it was great that nobody had to share. Beautiful chalet, everything you needed and very warm and comfy. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out or gather together if we wanted. Stunning views from the lounge and also the hot tub towards Mont Blanc, especially at sunset. Not too far from the Prarion Gondola although we did hire a ski locker after a day as it was much easier than lugging ski's around and walking up the hill in boots. We booked through Holiday Lettings but all our dealing thereafter were with the management company Chamonix All year. They were excellent, nothing to much trouble and they kept in contact so we always knew what was going on. They booked all our ski hire, passes etc and also some other activities - all excellent. Would thoroughly recommend Chalet Jean for a family group or a group of friends, it had everything we needed and was lovely to come back to after a great day on the slopes. … see more
Chalet Savoy
The perfect base for a walking holiday in the Mont Blanc region

My third stay at Chalet Savoy, this time to walk in the hills and look at the Alpine flowers with Oliver as our fully qualified mountain guide. A relaxing place to stay with breath-taking views across to the Aiguille du Midi and the Mont Blanc range. The chalet is clean and comfortable with a big garden and a hot tub to relax in after a hard day in the mountains. Oliver and Elaine are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent home cooking from Elaine and a wonderful cake waiting for us each day on our return from the hills. Oliver was very knowledgeable and tailored the walks to our abilities, starting either from the doorstep or using the air conditioned mini bus to travel further afield. The chalet is just a short walk away from the free bus and train service in the Chamonix valley. A wonderful location for exploring the area. … see more
Chalet Fiz
Lovely chalet, so comfortable and warm, loved the hot tub.

My partner and I with our friends and there children had a wonderful stay at Chalet Fiz. The garden is really nice and the area of Vaudagne is beautiful. There was no snow but we still enjoyed ourselves in the chalet. Good Dvd collection!. Thanks Corin for your advise on what to do in the area, it's great for walking and hiking as you said. Chalet Narnia
Perfect cosy chalet

We stayed here for a week in jan 2919 ,there were two families , we had plenty of room and found it very comfortable. Spacious bedrooms with lots of storage space. Living area really nice , large sofa in front of open fire, especially liked that! And the view out the window ..... breathtaking. We used the hot tub quite a few times in the evening after hitting the slopes , again the views from the hot tub amazing, just lay watching the clouds go by ,a little slice of paradise. Lots of tv channels to choose from , board games and lots of dvds to watch on a quiet night in . My daughters now have a love for scrabble, which makes a change from a electronic device. To be honest We didn’t see that much of corin and claire but they were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a nice feeling knowing they were on hand if we needed some advice. Only concern we had initially was the road up to the chalet as it did snow whilst we were there but honestly we didn’t have a problem, we just took our time as it was our first time driving in Les Houches . I would recommend a car to get around . Ski lift literally 5 mins drive away , plenty of parking and slopes perfect for our young children . Local supermarket 10 minutes tops away . We spent a lot of time in chamonix which is only 15 minutes away , some of our favourite places there such as Le cap horn restaurant and josephine cafe , try them! If you don’t have a car it’s easy to jump on the bus . We also traveled to Courmayeur in italy one day , through the Mont Blanc tunnel it was a lot easier than we thought . It’s a beautiful town and would definitely recommend going . We had drinks at le prive a cosy little bar .... very friendly . This is our 7th time in chamonix/ Les Houches area and was as perfect as the first time. WHYMPER CHALET LES HOUCHES CHAMONIX
Family fun

We were 6 adults and a baby. Loved the apartment- very well equipped (3 toilets always handy) great position to get to Bellevue lift ( or watch it from the balcony if babysitting ) . Excellent supermarket only 5 mins walk- much bigger than expected. We drove to Chamonix too for skiing- but the ski buses run past the apartment if you want. Owner extremely helpful too. … see more
