“Lovely apartment, perfect for our stay..” I stayed here with my 2 brothers for a 3 day ski trip in Les Carroz/Flaine. We have stayed a few times in Les Carroz but it was the first time at this apartment. Lisa was a pleasure to deal with when booking and overall the apartment is lovely.
Parking is very easy right next to the front door and the apartment itself is on the ground floor. It was nice and warm when we arrived and had everything we required. Cooker, oven and fridge were spotless and it has a lovely dining table in the kitchen area. The bedrooms are fine, sofa in lounge area very comfortable and there is a tv with large selection of DVDs (although we didnt put tv on at all). There is also wifi and this worked well.
It is only a short walk to the town, around 10 mins but very flat and easy and a nice thing to do. The balcony has a nice view if the mountains along from les Carroz and you can watch the shadows rise up these as the sun sets.
Skking is great, bus can take you to the Telecabin in Les Carroz although as we had a car we drove to Les Molliets and Vernant for a more leisurely start each day.
Overall I would recommend a stay at Les Trappeurs, a very nice, comfortable and clean apartment that we very much enjoyed using.
“Excellent” Great apartment, brilliant location, fantastic village with lots of facilities to suit all ages.
Excellent communication throughout from the owner and in resort contact extremely helpful & friendly. Ski bus, restaurants, supermarket, bars all 5 minutes from the apartment
“Great location - very functional and cosy” Stayed with two young children Februrary 2016. We have stayed in Morillon before but first time in this apartment. We love the location as it's great for the Patisserie and 'Sherpa shop' first thing in the morning, It's really close for getting to the ski lifts, especially if you use the guys in 'Skiset - ski hire' (Steve & Baptiste) and have a ski locker. Not very far for the early morning trudge with ski's to the lifts.
It is brilliant to be able to pop back for for lunch and even has a shortcut direct of the Marvel run, almost ski to the door when snow permits. Otherwise it's its a few minutes from the slope.
The apartment isn't big but it is very well laid out and has a really cosy feel to it. We felt at home for the week and had no trouble getting in each others way. It was very nice to have separate bedrooms so that if someone wants to go to bed later or wakes up earlier, no one is disturbed. The apartment is kitted out very well and was nice to have a well equipped kitchen with sharp knives and good pots/pans etc. Everything is very functional.
The view from the apartment is very good, looking directly across Les Esserts so you can always have a good idea of the weather.
Overall great value for money and a real homely feel and exceptionally clean - would use again.
