Set on the top floor with uninterrupted, panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Le Refuge is a stylish, two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chamonix, next to the river and minutes from the shops, ski lifts and public transport.
With a south-facing balcony, open-plan layout and high ceilings the apartment feels really light, and is incredibly spacious at 70 square metres. Considering the central location, it's a surprise to find that it's in a tranquil setting, facing away from the street and not overlooked by any other buildings. The apartment has been newly renovated to a high standard, retaining its local rustic charm but with all the conveniences of a modern home.
Le Refuge easily sleeps 4 to 6 people. For those with young children, there's plenty of space in both rooms for a cot.
The apartment has a private parking space in a secure garage underneath the building, a private ski locker, and lift access from the garage. There's also free public parking nearby.
The garage entrance is 2.10m, for those travellers who are concerned about access with a roof box.

“Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Chamonix”
Perfect apartment in all respects if you want to stay in the centre of Chamonix. Superb views of Mont Blanc. 2 min walk to the main street, shops, bars and restaurants. 5-10 minutes walk to Chamonix Sud bus station to hop on the bus to all the ski areas. Round the corner is a bakery, coffee shop and ski hire. It is ideally placed. Inside the apartment is wonderful. Two good sized bedrooms, a fantastic hot shower, a closet with ski boot warmers and separate toilet. The open plan dining, living and kitchen is spacious and a perfect place to relax after a days skiing. With two teenage daughters the WiFi and Netflix on the TV meant they couldn’t be happier to be chill out on the lovely big sofa. The board games are a nice touch to bring families together for evening entertainment. The balcony is cost but a lovey place to sit and have a beer whilst taking in the view. I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending Le Refuge, it really is a great refuge from the hustle and bustle for a week, or twos, holiday.

We booked Le refuge for a skiing holiday Feb'17. The apartment is lovely. Much bigger than the photographs suggest. Location is very central 2 min walk to all the restaurants and shops. Situated a stones throw from the aiguille De midi lift and a 5 min walk to chamonix sud bus stop which has links to all the resort areas.

“A perfect apartment for a short stay in Chamonix”
Autumn walking long weekend to Chamonix. Lovely apartment in a great location. Everything we needed and more. Decided to rent an apartment instead of booking separate hotel rooms. What a good decision that was - more space, more sociable, greater flexibility, better equipment all at a lower cost per night than most hotels.

“Perfect place to stay in Chamonix!”
We were lucky enough to spend New Year at Le Refuge and be one of the first guests in the newly refurbished apartment. The owners have done a fab job. Everything you could want from ski accommodation - comfy beds, hot and powerful shower, stacks of space to store wet gear and a great, sociable dining area to while away the evenings. There were six of us which worked perfectly. Right in the centre of Chamonix so a quick walk to all shops, bars and restaurants (recommend Evolution for partying and MBC for amazing burgers) and a parking place inside if you have a car to drive to the slopes. Thoroughly recommend Le Refuge.

Le Refuge is a hidden gem right in the heart of pretty Chamonix. The apartment is beautifully decorated; cosy Alpine charm abounds and complements the stunning views from the balcony windows. It’s the perfect place to retreat after a hard day on the mountain. The owners have thought of everything: strong powerful shower, ski-boot dryers, comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen and a large living diner area, perfect for big sociable meals. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to see in the New Year with friends. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!"
