Description from owner

Description

BiancaTea apartment is located on the sunny second (topmost) floor of an ancient (Byzantine remnant decorations on the facade), typical Venetian three-storey building, looking onto the private Corte de Ca' Amadi, in the pulsing heart of Venice (see map!); Rialto Bridge and St. Mark Square are just 5 minutes walk away. The vaporetto (water bus) Rialto stop is also very close, so you do not need to pull your trolleys up and down many bridges on arrival/departure.

Plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, cafes and bars are at hand to make your stay charming and easy going. Our apartment guide will reveal you the "secrets" of nearby area to experience the true Venice like a true Venetian. Though centrally located, the peaceful and private Corte de Ca' Amadi, once the courtyard of the XV Century Palace of the silk merchant family Amadi, with its ancient staircase and the marble well, is “far from the madding crowd" of the Venice grand-tour. Marco Polo houses are only 50m far.

The Malibran Theater (location of concerts from classic to pop), is just 50m away. New luxury T Fondaco (T Galleria) shopping center is only 2 minutes away. La Fenice (Venice Opera House) and Goldoni (Venice Drama and Comedy House) Theaters can be also reached in less than 10 minutes.

The apartment is only 10 minutes walk from the ferries leading to the islands: Lido (beaches), Murano (glassware artesans), Burano (pictoresque fishermen village), Torcello (VI century churches), San Michele (the quiet, monumental cemetery, where many international famous people like Igor Stravinskij, Ezra Pound, Antony Quinn decide to rest).

The apartment is officially classified and registered at the Tourist Board of Venice.

The Veneto region

Not only Venice. The Veneto Region is a land of fantastic opportunities for visitors. Roman and medieval historical cities (Verona, Padua, Treviso ...), beaches, waterparks and nightlife (Venezia-Lido, Jesolo, Bibione ..), hiking, climbing and ski resorts (in the Dolomites, included in 2009 among the UNESCO Human Heritage Sites there are 1200km slopes), lake and water sports (fantastic windsurfing in the Garda Lake), quality wine production (hill towns of Conegliano, Asolo, Valdobbiadene, Soave, Bardolino and many more ...). All attractions within 2 hours from Venice!

North East Italy

Maybe not everybody agrees that Venice is the most beatiful city in the world, however no one will ever deny that Venice is unique. No other city in the world can be compared or can really look like Venice, grown on few scattered sandy islands in the middle of a lagoon.

The city is a pure human invention, the result of centuries of artesan wisdom that created a masterpiece in an absolutely bizarre location. Loose yourself in the narrow alleys and discover the unique traditions, history and monuments of the ''Serenissima'';, once a powerful State of the Mediterranean, now an ''old elegant lady''; not ashamed to show the wrinkles of a thousand-year life.

“Peaceful central apartment”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2015

Bianca Tea was ideal for our family of four, including two teenagers. It is ideally situated right in the heart of Venice and although the nearby streets are very busy the apartment is in a quiet courtyard and there was very little noise. Marco made the booking process very easy, and replied promptly to any questions we had. The apartment is clean and pleasant, and the free Wi-Fi was invaluable. We will definitely book this apartment again if we are in Venice again.

“Great location and very clean”

Reviewed 18 May 2013

We stayed for four nights and this apartment was located right at the heart of the city. It is well appointed and very clean. Only problem for us is that it is not actually on the top floor of a two storey building - it is up two steep flights of stairs on the third floor. If like us you have two elderly members in your party, you might want to bear this in mind.

Dear Mike, I thank you for your review and I apologize for the misunderstanding in the information regarding the flat floor. In Italy (see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storey) the floor numbering is ground, first, second etc., so the first information was correct (second floor). However, when below I wrote "of a two-storey building" I made a mistake in translating from Italian, and this has confused you. I modified the advert, and now it should give the correct description (second floor, topomost of a 3-storey building). Best regards Marco
