From the owner

800 sq/ft full apartment above our barn-garage that sleeps 4. There is separate parking and private entrance. Equipped with full kitchen (with dishwasher), laundry, private deck and fire pit. We have adequate parking and pull thru drive for guests with boats.

New rustic style furnishings plus Smart TV (Roku), USB chargers built-in to the outlets, fast WiFi. Queen sized bed with pillow soft mattress and Queen sofa bed. Shopping, restaurants and amenities are close and the Clemson stadium is easy access.

A great place to relax and enjoy a quality lifestyle away from city life as the property sits on 27 acres of mature forest.

We have a WiFi mesh and the Loft is the one used for guests...there is no password on that WiFi, the other visible WiFi will be Pfeiffer_net, this one is password protected and the signal will be weaker.

The home is on a septic system, so it is more sensitive than typical sewer system. We do have a disposal, but ask that large food items be put in the trash can as well as any feminine sanitary items, including coffee grounds. The septic system is a living organism and can digest simple things well.

The loft and house are on a spring fed well system. There is no chlorine or other chemicals and we do have a water UV filtration system for drinking water at the sink. Showering is a wonderful experience since there are no chemicals.

We ask that no smoking be done on the premise, inside or out.

Our 2 Maine Coons will be shy, but our Tabby Puma is more personable and may approach you...she loves a good petting. They are all friendly and are vaccinated. We ask that you not feed them morsels, even if they give you that look of starvation...they are well fed on a grain free diet. If they do come to your door crying to come in, send me a text an I will retrieve them. We typically keep them in at night when guest arrive, but during the day they may be out and about.

Remove the trash bags at the end of your stay, there is a trash bin located below the stairwell.

The granite counter tops and bar are very sturdy, but not designed for sitting.

The washing machine and dryer are a compact version and can handle typical medium load well.

There is a dishwasher to make dining easier, please rinse the items before putting them in.

Other things to note

Our property is located just outside the Clemson city limits (10 minutes) so you can enjoy traffic free driving (even during game days) to the grocery stores (Ingles, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Bi-Lo and Publix) some are opened 24 hrs.

It is also easy to get to local parks on the lakes as well Issaqueena forest for hiking or mountain biking. For road cycling we are located in a great area with small farm roads and challenging hills. We can supply you with more details for gearing and food suggestions.

The closest large falls is the 1500' Whitewater Falls on Hwy 281 - 45 min drive and there is a magnificent overlook very close to there on Wigington Rd.

Whitewater rafting is available on the Chattooga River and Nantahala - all day and half day excursions.

We are also located about 1:45 min from Asheville and 2 hours from Charlotte and Atlanta. 50 min from Greenville-Spartanburg airport
