Description

Experience Florida's native serenity at our quiet, truly secluded lodge on haw creek. Noise pollution is rare, but wildlife sightings are common. . Located on a working cattle ranch aprox. 1.5 miles (approx 10 mins) off a paved country road. Beautiful pristine landscape perfect for a peaceful get-a-away. For nature lovers, writers, artists, fisherman, family's, retreats, reunions, star gazers, bird watchers, camping, and even race fans, or romantic vacations. Get all the benefits of ecotourism and still enjoy a very comfortable stay.

Our lodge is shaded by a natural oak tree hammock. There is natural and country decor throughout and Cedarwood/cypress dress most of the walls. Inside dining table will seat 8 easily. Kitchen island sits 4-8. Outside there's a screened in porch with table to sit 4, spacious dock(4 stairs to climb) overlooking haw creek, campfire pit w/swing, and small boat ramp. We are completely in the middle of the woods where you can experience nature at it's best. If you listen closely at night you can usually hear owls talking. Fully stocked kitchen: cooking utensils, pots/pans, usual condiments, linens, towels, and Culligan drinking water. There's also a couple family games cards, and a house set of croquet.

Guest access

For an extra fee and depending on the number of people, we can provide guided fishing trip, guided hunting trip, boat ride, sporting clays, or a buggy ride to tour our property. You must check with us for availability and schedule this ahead of time if you're interested. There is no unguided riding on the property allowed besides going to and from the lodge.

Interaction with guests

We'll meet with you and help you get settled in and then leave. We don't live there and we'll give you privacy, but we're only a phone call away if you need us.

Other things to note

We are way out in the woods. The closest jiffy store is about 7 minutes away and Dollar General is about 10 mins away once you hit the hard road. Bull Creek fish camp/restaurant is about 15 mins away. Bunnell is 10 miles from hard road. Epic Movie Theater : 20 miles, Palm Coast Bowling Lanes: 25 miles, Flagler Beach: 23 miles, Daytona Beach: 32 miles, Daytona International Speedway: 40 miles, St. Augustine: 46 miles, Orlando and Walt Disney World: 70 miles.

Extra $50 fee to bring a pet. Located on a natural Florida creek and on our ranch. We have sulfur water and a 1.5 mile drive down a dirt grade to before you arrive at our hidden gem. There are Alligators, bugs, and snakes around. We've never had any problems with them, but they are there, and there's a possibility of seeing them. If you're bringing a pet, please keep an eye on them and we advise to not let them go near the water. There are cows on the property, but they're not mean. :)

Please use common sense and do not let children play near the water by themselves, day or night.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
