A newly renovated 1920's Mediterranean style home located in the historic district of Bozeman, Montana. We are just a 5 minute walk from the Montana State University campus - and a short bike ride from the best downtown restaurants.
We have lived in this home since 2000, and have been slowly renovating it over time. In recent years the house has been featured in both an architecture book, and an "At Home" magazine. We do love living here - but we also want to travel, thus the rental decision.
A few of the home's major features:
* one formal dining space for up to 10 people
* a casual dining space
* two outdoor dining areas
* a beautiful baby grand piano (but frequently a bit out of tune!)
* a grand circular staircase
* an indoor jacuzzi bathtub
* an outdoor porch swing
* 7-person hot tub surrounded by a natural rock wall, a mahogony screen & copper lights
* two wood burning fireplaces
* a chef's kitchen with a Wolf gas range
* a gym with weights & a stationary bike
* two laundry centers with stackable washer/dryers
Riding bikes to Bozeman's historic downtown is fun . . . and once downtown you can visit galleries, museums, the library, wine bars and restaurants and the historic Ellen theater - or walking a couple of blocks to the tennis courts and kids playground or to the MSU campus for lectures and concerts. For winter visitors - Southside park becomes a beautiful lighted ice skating rink - a winter wonderland.
We also have weekly yard maintenance, and if you need baby sitters we will try to put you in touch with some good kids from the neighborhood.
We've tried to design our home to be attractive - but more importantly - we've insisted it be comfortable, livable, and welcoming - we hope you find it that way.
