Sunny and spacious 4th floor apartment in the heart of Athens, just a few minutes from all basic ancient monuments! Situated around the liveliest neigbhorhoods Thisio/Plaka with a superb view to Gazi (the most up and coming neighbourhood famous for its nightlife) and too near to the famous Monastiraki square.
The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It offers one bedroom with one double bed together with an electric blanket for the cold days, a comfortable big sofa which unfolds to a big double bed and a dinning table so you can enjoy having friends around and cooking. One or two more person can easily sleep on the couch in the living room. There is a big balcony with a view to the area of Gkazi where the nightlife of Athens beats and a terrace/rooftop with a view of Acropolis, Parthenon, Lycabettus, Mars Hill and Thissio.
Situated in the liveliest area of Athens, most favorite among tourists, spot of the city, just 3 minutes from the "Kerameikos" Metro station (line 3) that connects you directly with Athens International Airport and just 5 minutes from the ''Thissio'' Metro station (line 1) that connects you directly with the port of Piraeus. Its location is very close to the famous Thissio, Monastiraki square, and Psiri area with its beautiful restaurants. Plaka, is in front of your door. All nightlife bars and restaurants are nearby. All monuments are obviously under your feet. Acropolis museum is a pleasant 15 mins walk. Choosing my apartment for your exquisite and quality stay, you can visit on foot the most important historical sites of Athens. Furthermore, you are only 15 minutes walking distance from Kolonaki, the most chic shopping area of Greece. Equally, the hip and trendy Gkazi area with its boasting nightlife is only 2 mins walk. Nonetheless, Athens' best quality Restaurants, night clubs, and coffee places are all a short walk away from my apartment.

It is located exactly in the city center, at the most famous area of Athens (Gazi and Thissio) where the heart of old Athens beats. 2min walk away from Gazi Square, the new big thing in Athens, full of cafes, bars, galleries, theatres and clubs.Technopolis (Gazi) is an industrial museum and a major cultural venue of the city, where major festivals are held throughout the year. Within 300m reach you can find a grocery store, kiosk, traditional goods shop, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, taverns, etc... Within 5 min walk you can find Lais, the Greek Film Archive with indoor and outdoor cinema, Gazarte, a restaurant, bar, cinema and a wonderful music venue that has hosted from Dee Dee Bridgwater to Imany as well as the Gazi Concert Hall that has hosted from Tricky to Tendermoller.The apartment is exactly at Iraklidon street where the famous cafe and restaurants are. Iraklidon street is one of the most famous and rich streets of Athens as the same street leads to Apostolou Pavlou street where the Acropolis and Parthenon are! This area is for sure the best place to stay when visiting the city. You can easily reach the historical Philopappos hill, where Pnyx and Philopappos monument are, and wander around as there are nice paths all over the hill and also parts with panoramic views (also nice sun-sets). You can enjoy sun-bathing or reading a book lying under a tree and relaxing with the bird sounds. After crossing the hill (15 min walk) you reach Acropolis hill, Acropolis museum and Ancient Agora, all three not to be missed sites. Other most interesting, nearby areas, which can also be reached easily on foot, are Plaka (ask the way to Anafiotika – you will be impressed), Kerameikos, Monastiraki and its Flea Market, Thisseion, Dionyssiou Areopagitou and Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian zones and Ermou Street (the main shopping street in Athens). They are all touristy places with cafes, restaurants and shops without traffic and the busy atmosphere of other places in Athens.
