From the owner

A spacious and stylish first floor apartment in the heart of the city to serve as a base to explore Athens. The apartment is very spacious, airy and sunny and comprises of a large living area together with kitchen, a large bedroom and bathroom. It is simply decorated in style, well arranged and functional to make you feel at home. Fully equipped with all necessary home gadgets and provisions that make life easy…

There is also a balcony in the property where you can have your coffee or a drink in the warmer months.

The apartment is in a very safe part of the city, just 5' walk to the nearest metro station ''Ano Patisia''. There are supermarkets, bakeries, groceries in close proximity and 24 hour kiosks and food. It's also 30' on foot from the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and 30' minutes by bus to Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon.

The property is located near to Exarhia, a historic area of Athens where the alternative and underground life beats. Coffee shops, historic and modern bars, cinemas, live venues, restaurants, taverns, clothes shops are all within 10' minutes walk; I can provide you with a list of those upon your reservation. Lycabettus hill is also very close, where you can catch the cable car and get to the top of the hill with amazing city views.

Transportation links from the property are very convenient, with Ano Patisia 5' walk, which is 6 stops from Omonoia square, Acropolis and the Historic city centre and 25 mins to Peiraus Port. Also, from ''Ano Patisia'' metro station can take you to "Neratziotisa'' metro station (6 stops or 15 mins) where you can catch the metro to and from the Airport.

Ι am always on the phone for any information you may need!

Couples friendly, gay friendly, lesbian friendly, single men/women travel friendly.

For those who are looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay in Athens you are offered accommodation in an apartment conveniently situated in Ano Patisia, one of the most beautiful and central neighborhoods of Athens.

If you enjoy walking it is possible from my place to stroll around the central and historical Athens and get a very good view of it in that way. If you are not the walking type of tourist there are easy alternatives as the metro station and the trolley-bus stop are nearby.

You can easily reach the historical Philopappos hill, where Pnyx and Philopappos monument are, and wander around as there are nice paths all over the hill and also parts with panoramic views (also nice sun-sets). You can enjoy sun-bathing or reading a book lying under a tree and relaxing with the bird sounds.

After crossing the hill (15 min walk) you reach Acropolis hill, Acropolis museum and Ancient Agora, all three not to be missed sites. Other most interesting, nearby areas, which can also be reached easily on foot, are Plaka (ask the way to Anafiotika – you will be impressed), Kerameikos, Monastiraki and its Flea Market, Thisseion, Dionyssiou Areopagitou and Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian zones and Ermou Street (the main shopping street in Athens). They are all touristy places with cafes, restaurants and shops without traffic and the busy atmosphere of other places in Athens.

My apartment is in a very nice area with no high buildings, as it is not permitted due to its proximity to the historical part of Athens. It is a way to preserve the atmosphere of Athens as it used to be which is a very positive aspect for us living here.

The neighborhood is also well connected to public transport and you will find your way easily both from the port or the airport (infomation you can find above). The tram station is also easily accessible which can take you to one of the various beaches of the city.

Dear Guests,

I am very happy that you are using my property and hope you will be satisfied with everything. For the harmonious use of the space, please note the folowing guidelines concerning the use of the space:

NEIGHBOURSHIP: Please respect the other residents of our building. In Greece, usually, the quiet hours are between 3-5 pm and after 12pm in the evening. This is respected in most residential areas. If anyone asks about your presence in the building, just say you are a guest of Leonidas.

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT: I try and adjust my time to suit your needs..so just let me know when you would like to arrive and depart and I 'll do my best to satisfy your requests.

SMOKING: This is a smoking house, but never forget that smoking is dangerous!!!

NO GUNS - NO DRUGS..

PETS ARE NOT ACCEPTED..:(

DEPARTURE: Please leave your keys at the entrance, before your departure. Make certain to take all your personal belongings.

IN GENERAL: you have to know that flexibility is a big standard for me! So even for things that I say that not allowed, I am able to discuss them with you!

Moreover, for more details and advices about the appartment and the Athenian city, I will be 24 hours upon the phone in order to help you!:D

In addition, follow common sense!!

Please, leave the apartment in the same condition that you found it.

Before check-out make sure everything is clean, including kitchenware, no garbage, etc. (that doesn't include towels and sheets)

-MAKE SURE you check that all windows are closed when you go out.

-NEVER heat up the Brikka coffee maker without any water in it.

-NEVER have the bolier switch lifted (switched on) while you're having a shower. (There is always danger of electric shock despite the presence of a dedicated fuse and we wouldn't want that!)

-NEVER throw paper in the toilet. This is the standard for Greek sewer systems. There is a dedicated bin which you can use.

-If you are a smoker, please smoke by the window so that the smoke doesn't accumulate in the house and annoy future guests.
