It is a brand new, modern, comfortable and fully equipped apartment, just a stone’s throw away from the city centre, located at the sides of the most central hill of Athens, in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood, providing amazing view of the Acropolis and the Saronic gulf including Piraeus port and the islands of Aegina and Salamis.

My dear and arrogant Russian friend, Very smart the way you chose to "punish" me because I insisted in the house rule "check-out at 10am". I understand that your flight was late afternoon, but what should I say to the next incoming group (arriving after 3h, at 1pm) expecting to get in a clean and sterilized apartment: "Sorry guys, my Russian guests are still in the apartment and refuse to check-out at 10am (as they should according to our contract) and they will leave the flat at 5pm at convenience, so please, no matter how tired you are after a long flight, get your heavy luggage in hands and go to see the Acropolis until 9pm - we need 4 hours to clean up - and then come back to get in". Of course you wouldn't write bad comments for the apartment itself since everyone who could see the photos wouldn't believe you. So, what's next? Bravo, you did a nice job. Your review glows between the others. The apartment is located in very quiet residential area (which is great to relax after a busy day), close to many bus and trolley bus lines (at least 8) in a range of 80-250m. The call taxis are readily available in 2' (they are aligned in the square in 250m). The cost to the historical center (including the Acropolis) is 5 EUR (probably the cheapest charge for cabs in Europe). The distance to the historical center and the sites is 2,6 kms (1,5 miles). Before I close this reply my dear Russian friend, I would like to remind you that you have thanked me many times (during your stay and before we argue for the check-out time), for the great tips I gave you, the restaurants I recommended and the...history lessons (..!!).

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
