The light spacious bedroom has a king-size, zip link bed, so can be converted to 2 singles, and an ensuite shower room, with a full height shower. Hotel quality, hypo-allergenic bedding, towels, heating, electricity, Wi-Fi access and free on site parking are included. Safety wise there is no access from the garden directly onto the riverbank, but a footpath abutting Portreeves allows easy access to the river for a scenic level stroll into town, or a glorious walk to Warningcamp and Burpham, with a great panorama to the South Downs and across the river to Arundel Park.

Portreeves is in the South Downs National Park, within quarter of a mile of Arundel town Centre with it's historic Castle, gardens & Cathedral, Wildlife & Wetlands Centre, County cricket ground, & a wealth of pubs, restaurants & cafes. However if you wish to eat in, the co-op is just 4mins. walk, plus a quality butcher, delicatessen, grocers & monthly Farmer's Market. There is a post office, doctor's surgery & pharmacy. We have some excellent take-aways which some conveniently deliver! Arundel is just 4 miles from several large supermarkets. As Portreeves is a short walk from Arundel mainline station, a car is not necessary, & there is also a nearby bus stop. Taxi's are situated at the station as well.
Just a field away from Portreeves in Arundel Lido a beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool open April - Sept. We have the Arundel Festival in August, & a variety of other events throughout the year. A multitude of lovely boutique shops & restaurants, beautiful parks including Swanbourne Lake, take a boat trip to the famous Black Rabbit Pub, or to the Coast at Littlehampton, just 4 miles away, famous for it's beach, East Beach Cafe, water-sports, & Sea Fishing.
