From the owner

From the terrace you open the French doors to the house to spot a big and comfortable corner sofa which invites you to sit down and relax. The wall is decorated with colorful Andalucian handpainted plates. Walking trough the open kitchen you find the cozy bedroom with a double bed and some stylish bed stands. But it is not bedtime yet, time to go outside and relax on the swing bench while enjoying the colorful sunset.

After a twenty minute drive you will leave the cozy town of Málaga behind. The highway changes into a windy uphill road. At first you have splendid views on the Mediterranean sea, after a while the hills and mountain take over the view. The road changes for the last two kilometers in a very good sand road. Being at an altitude of five hundred meters you can overlook the Andalucian inland which looks like a patchwork of white villages, olive and almond trees and in a distance the mountain of El Torcal and El Chorro.

Getting out of the car at Finca Las Nuevas you will hear the birds singing or just a moment of absolute silence. The serene quietness where you are looking for, leaving a busy life behind you. The old ‘era’ next to the driveway remembers the day the area was covered in wheats. The round place was used to dry the grain. Nowadays the mountains around the house are covered with almond and olive trees.

The old finca of Las Nuevas is more than hundred years old with typical Andalucian details, like thick walls and small windows. It houses three holiday units, each in Spanish style and with its own private terrace or balcony. The huge common terrace is overlooking the mountains of Sierra de las Nieves and the garden.

Walking down the garden, your eye catches the lovely pool with sunbeds. The view, with the sunset which colours the sky in various colors of orange is breathtaking. At night the sky is lighted by thousands of twinkling stars.

We love to get to know you, but above all we want you to feel at home having the holiday you deserved! Together with our children we live in the old finca, we are nearby in case you want to know something. We hope you can enjoy the many things the area has to offer. We have two small dogs and a snobby cat who are very friendly, they do not come into the rented houses.

    How do damage deposits work?
