From the owner

Our most recently constructed 4-bed villa stands on a separate plot of land, hence being ideal for those who value seclusion and peace. It is named Ayra, meaning breeze connoting the 'salty summer air' that blows softly from the Libyan Sea. A stone house, delicately restored using natural materials from the area of Elounda, it is surrounded by olive and banana trees, and traditional herbs. A rectangular swimming pool appealingly dominates the villa’s front.

The house is purposefully designed to be as comfortable and practical as it gets. The bedroom designed to be very relaxing and earthy, coated with stone and wood, making a harmonious blend with the more modern elements of gray and white hues displayed around the rest of the rooms - the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and the lounge room.

During the sunset, the sky colors reflected on the earth, the olive trees and the sea amaze the visitor.

A highlight of this villa is the tranquility the guests can enjoy resting on the picnic table, under the old pine trees and above the sea, at the edge of the land.

Crossing the path through the garden, you will find the small, pebbled, private seashore, with crystal blue waters. You can swim, dive and sunbathe there or even go fishing.

The open air setting fills the visitor with astounding peace and stillness, a stark contrast with the frenzied tourism of the coast.
