Fantastic house in a beautiful old town.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this stone house with lots of steps. It is comfortable and cool and the roof terrace is a lovely place to sit in the cool breeze looking out over the fabulous old roof tops and down to the river. The town is just a ten minute walk away and has a selection of small shops and a little supermarket selling everything you need. The local beach at Bosa Marina was busy, but lovely with clear, clean sea and opportunities for all sorts of water sports. We explored other local beaches which were all lovely. We hired canoes on the river and spent a lovely hour paddling upstream. I would recommend this house for a real taste of Sardinia living in such history. … see more
Pink Palace - Apartment Il Mare
Perfect position

My wife and I stayed at the Pink Palace (apartment il Tramonto) and the photo's on the website do not do it justice, the building is grand and imposing outside and smart and well equipped inside. The high ceilings and spacious rooms have the feel of a grand house. We loved the fact that while it is on a quiet street you are only steps away from a fantastic beach and there are lots of good bars and restaurants nearby (Chelo restaurant is particularly good). Very nice house in good location

Beautiful house in a very secluded rural location, albeit one which is well-situated for visiting places. Easy drive to the beaches of Sinis peninsula, as well as into the mountains in the other direction (Santu Lussurgiu only 25 minutes or so away). Also fairly straightforward to do day trips further afield- E.g. Cagliari, Orgosolo, Orosei. Ample space for a family of four so long as the kids don't mind sharing. Wonderful vacation in a nice place

We are two families with three kids. In June 2016 we spend three great weeks in this wonderful place Porto Alabe. That was a little quiet village in about 8 kilometers from small charming town Bosa surrounded with beautiful landscapes. This place is suitable for those who like to enjoy restful vacation far away from big hotels and noisy night life. Car is necessary because nearest supermarket is in Bosa. The house is nicely located at the seashore. A small garden in front of the dinning terrace opens directly to the beach. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, but the rooms upstairs have somewhere a bit low ceiling due to sloping roof which might discomfort tall persons. The house is clean and well-furnished, equipped with everything except dishwasher. The owners are kind, gentle and easy to communicate. They were always ready to help. … see more

Unusually, this house is better than the pictures, and it is a house, not a rent, deep in the Medieval La Cosa area, with it's many cobbles and stone stairs. The owner, Marina, is very helpful. After our initial culture shock we came to love our 2 weeks in another world. We relied on the Rough Guide to Sardinia which has a photo of Bosa on the cover.
