“Fabulous Villa in Poppi” My family and I stayed at La Casina from 23 – 30 May. There were 8 adults and 1 child and La Casina accommodated for us all. The villa was beautiful and views stunning. Plenty of terraces to enjoy the view surrounding the villa, including seeing Poppi and the castle at the top of the hill lit up at night. The land is very well looked after and you will see Gigi every morning tending to the pool. The bedrooms are very comfortable and all were a good size. The kitchen is charming; we all enjoyed gathering round to cook. We also enjoyed using the pizza oven which was a great experience. A chef from a local restaurant was arranged to show us how to prepare a traditional Tuscan meal, which was one of the highlights of our week. The Tapinassi family were extremely helpful when our car broke down 30 minutes from the villa, they arranged a tow truck and a local garage to fix the car for our departure, we also received daily updates on the problems/fixing of the car. Thank you for all your help and letting us holiday in your villa.
