“Delightful apartment in lovely location” This was a lovely apartment - two cute double bedrooms with their own ensuites and a gorgeous modern and spacious loungeroom and kitchen. If you,like us, were hauling the 20kg of suitcase each, well, you paid for it as there is no lift. A rooftop space for being outside and looking across other rooftops. Ample windows meant it was very light - but also very hot. Even with the ability to close up the place. We found that the aircon just couldn't handle the heat. Lots of mod cons and nice thoughtful extra bits. A good place for couples and the third room with bunks accommodates a couple more

“Great house and greta town” I really enjoyed our stay at your house. The house is in a wonderful part of the town, so close to everything. I could park my car just near the front of the house then walk to a bakery and a restaurant of our choice, how good are the restaurants in the town. The house was so comfortable but the best part for me anyway was the courtyard and terrace. For my wife she couldn't stop raving about the new kitchen and bathroom. Congratulations on the house and we have already planned to stay there within the next year.

“Peace and Quiet in the Country” La Maison Bleue is an oasis of calm in the hamlet of Sonnac sur L'Hers. It is easy to find and delightful to return to each day after touring. The house has lovely outdoor spaces in front of the dwelling or on the back terrace overlooking hills and fields with sheep and cows. Very restful. Interior space is good, beds are comfortable and linens of top quality. Our hosts left us farm fresh eggs, bread, milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as olive oil, herbs and balsamic vinegar in the cupboards. Fresh flowers adorned the dining table. There is a good selection of Dvd's should you wish to stay home of an evening and catch a feel good film. If you wish, Nigel will make you dinner at the next door B&B.; It's a very good deal! Carolyn is a charming hostess. I recommend this vacation home to anyone who enjoys a tranquil holiday.

“Quality gite, tranquil setting, friendly owners.” Very welcoming.The owners Will and Karen live onsite and are extremely helpful with local information, recommending restaurants, directions etc. Beautifully converted barn with all amenities you could wish for. Comfortable beds, quality bedlinen and towels. Swimming pool was very nice but not heated-a little cold in October although the weather was beautiful and warm. Excellent location,very peaceful, but not far from lots of little towns and pictuesque villages. Very well maintained gite and spotlessly clean.

“Perfect Languedoc retreat” This was the perfect base for a wonderful 5 days in a gorgeous part of France. The village is pleasant and peaceful and the property authentic and homely. The local vine covered hills are a joy. Nearby St Chinian is a great little town and it can act as a good base for Carcassonne, Beziers, Sete, the Canal Du Midi, Minerve, the beaches and the many other local sites of interest. Christine met us on arrival and was a wonderful host. Recommended.

“Chez Nick and Carolyn” What a find! Charming little B&B; just 50mins south-west of Carcassonne. Listen to the tinkling of the cow bells as you doze off to sleep after Nick's delicious four course evening meals and local wines, all sourced locally. Carolyn has all thought of everything from the hairdryer and cotton wool in the bathroom, to the eclectic selection of CDs. We loved our stay and came home wishing we were still sitting in the village square soaking up the sun and enjoying the friendship of our hosts.

“An all-round fine time” This was my second time staying at Les Lauriers in Limoux, and the first for my wife. The home was comfortable and well appointed on a quiet street just a 15 minute walk from the old city centre. As we walked almost daily to the old town, we would pass three superb wineries. There was always an option to stop by for a tasting, and when we were there, (October) it was in the middle of the grape harvest with tons and tons of local grapes coming in to produce the fine local wines. We love the history of the region from the 40,000 year old cave paintings and the 12th century Cathar castles to the fine old medieval buildings in Limoux and surrounding towns; a painter's paradise. We would happily go there again.
