“Perfect family house” We had a fabulous stay at Chez Nous. It is set away from the small village which has a bakery, butchers, pizzeria and small supermarket. Lovely views over the sunflower fields and very peaceful. Travelling with extended family, we were all accommodated comfortably with a great bedroom:bathroom ratio. staying in the house is like visiting the home of a friend in terms of what is available to families. Our kids loved the table tennis, badminton and table football, and having access to bikes was fantastic and meant an enjoyable bike ride to the village bakery. The pool was a little chilly for the grown ups at first but the children were less fussy! Great to have the barbecue and a lovely patio. The upstairs landing also had a play room area with toys which was great for the little ones. Thanks for a great stay

“Second time around and twice as nice!” This was our second holiday at La Petite Maison following an extremely enjoyable stay last summer. Our expectations were once again realised and made all the much better due to the improved weather conditions. Rob and Liz were, as usual, excellent hosts, on hand if needed but unobtrusive otherwise. The high standard of the accommodation has been maintained and made for an memorable second visit. Still a good number of villages and attractions to explore so maybe another visit could be on the cards but if it's peace and quiet you require then this cottage fits the bill admirably and comes highly recommended..

“Charming Indeed! A wonderful comfortable home to relax and enjoy the french lifestyle and beauty of Ile de Re.” We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cottage! After visiting busy London and Paris we were really excited to go to Ile de Re to relax. I had high expectations of the cottage from the photos and reviews and was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the property we felt like we were home! The owners have thought of everything. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you need. We loved the front and back garden areas. Perfect for a glass or two of wine and meals. Excellent location, close to the market, restaurants and the beach. We visited the bakery and market each morning to get fresh food for the day, they are just a few minutes away from the cottage and offer delicious selections. We rented bikes for the week and explored the island visiting different beaches and markets. Glenda, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. She is very helpful provides all the information you need. Thank you Glenda, everything was perfect, we will definitely return!
