“Excellent, modern and perfect location!” We stayed here for 10 days in September. The apartment was very clean and well presented. They had everything you would need from hairdryer to kitchen equipment and utensils. They were flexible with check in/out times which was great as our flight was delayed. We found the location was a perfect walking distance to the main town/city and there was plenty to do nearby. All in all it was a lovely stay and the locals were really friendly.

“Character and charm a short stroll from the heart of Nice” I was looking for a characterful, inviting apartment for myself and 3 friends for our 5 nights stay in Nice, and Cronstadt did not disappoint! From the start, Mary was very responsive and helpful and the whole booking process was a breeze. My security deposit was returned in a timely manner - the only downside with this is if you're paying in a different currency from Euros, changes in exchange rates may mean you receive a different amount back than you paid. However this problem exists when renting properties throughout Europe, it's just something to be aware of. The apartment itself is vey cosy and welcoming and we felt immediately at home. It's located only a couple of blocks back from the Promenade and the Hotel Negresco so walking into the centre of town was an easy 10 minute stroll down the promenade. The rooms are all well appointed and there was plenty of room for us all. We were there in winter and the heating worked well - sometimes too well and we had to turn it down! Being on the first floor meant that you did get some street noise so if you're a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner and there were quite a number of supermarkets, both small and large, within a short walk of the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nice and would recommend this apartment whole heartedly.

“Great Place to Stay in Nice” We had a great stay at this apartment. It is modern and well-kept. The balcony is wonderful and a great place to watch the people along the promenade, the Mediterranean, and the passing cars. It is a 20-30 minute walk to town which was just perfect after a meal. I would stay there again.

“Beautiful Nice apartment!” “OMG”!!! What an apartment, the photos don’t do it justice. Its so big and tastefully furnished with all the equipment you will need for a self-catering holiday. You couldn't wish for a better location, its fabulous location is surrounded by restaurants, bars and family bakers; the baguettes / croissants are to die for and all freshly baked on the premises. Also 1 minute walk to trams and buses and maximum of 3-5mins walk to beach. Highly recommend the Cours Seleya (1 minute walk!) for restaurants/bars, just sit there with wine and watch the world go around. Also recommend walking through the newly finished park with its fountains etc. We will return!!!
“Great Flat” This was my 4th trip staying at this apartment. It is very well equipped, clean and well laid out with internet and wifi. Amazing views from the balcony. Ideal location for access to bus and train. You can walk to beach, shops and old town. There's lots of cafes and restaurants and a market there also. We had day trips to Monte Carlo/ Monaco and St Paul de Vance . Looking forward to going again.
“Wonderful!” The apartment was just wonderful. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The view was beautiful and we were close to the flower market and all transportation. We would rent this apartment again and absolutely loved Nice. We plan to go back and we would use and trust your services again. Thank you.
“Perfect holiday vacation apartment” We loved everything about this apartment - from its excellent location near the promenade, shops, supermarkets, bus stops and entertainment venues, to the decor (modern and clean), the facilities (hot water on demand, great information booklet and folder, equipped with everything you could possibly need) and the quiet to come back to after a long days sight seeing. We'll most definitely be back!

“A great location with fantastic views” Nice is a great destination well served with flights from the UK. Transfer from Nice airport is convenient with bus 98 for €4. Vague Blu is right on the Promenade de Anglais, bus stop Lenval from the airport is nearby. There is a convenient supermarket just arround the corner. The beach is across the road from the apartment. The appartment was clean and had all that we needed. My top tips are: Sign up for the "Velo Bleu" bike rental. It is just a great way to get to the old town and centre of Nice using the cycle lanes of the Promenade de Anglais. Get out and explore using the buses, €1 per trip. Try Mount Boron and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for a nearby change of scene. The only down side is the traffic noise from the Promenade de Anglais. It can be a bit intrusive as it is a busy road. There are however plenty of light controlled crossing points of the road making it easy and safe to cross.
“Comfortable appartment, well furnished & decorated, fab location in Nice” We stayed in Jemma's apartment for our honeymoon. It was the perfect location as you are 4minutes walk from the beach and promenade and can also easily navigate your way to the old town, marina and other interesting places. It's also a great location for the train station which we used to visit Eze, and for bus stops (we visited Monaco on the number 100 bus). The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, a good sie, bright and airy. Despite visiting in the height of summer, the apartment stayed cool as there are lots of windows and the sun isn't always shining directly on it. The apartment has good facilities: we made good use of the Wifi and DVD. We would recommend staying in Jemma's apartment and the apartment managers, Christophe and Claire we friendly and welcoming too.

“location, location!!” We stayed for six nights in the apartment, third week of october. The booking was very easy, Mary responded quickly to all our mails/requests. When we arrived in Nice Valery, the contact/manager in Nice, was in the apartment. The apartment is located on the second floor (third floor for USA), there is no elevator (which was no problem for us). Ample space: living room with kitchen, two bedrooms (so our teenage son had his own space) and a bathroom. There is free wifi in the apartment, another big plus for us (and our son!). From the living room you have a nice view of rue Hotel des Postes, a busy street but if you have the windows (in fact large doors with a french balcony) closed you hardly notice the traffic. The bedroooms are at the backside of the apartment (very quit in the evening apart from an occasional sound from other apartments). From the apartment it is a short walk to the Old Town, which we visited several times: to do some shopping, people watching and, of course, for lunch and/or dinner (numerous restaurants to choose from). We espially liked Chez Palmyre (no. 2 at Tripadvisor): a set menu for € 14 (three courses, excellent food, be sure to make a reservation because the place is always full!). Lots of shopping opportunities nearby: Rue Jean Medicin (also has a shopping mall and a supermarket/Monoprix; 5-10 minutes walk) and Rue Massena for example. We took the bus and train to travel along the coast. Bus nr. 81 (to Villefranche and Beaulieu) and bus nr 100 (to Monaco) are within 5 minutes walk (station JC Bermond). Bus nr. 83 to Eze (very beautiful medieval town in the mountains; from there we took bus nr 112 to Monaco: nice daytrip!) has also a stop near the apartment. Villefranche was our favorite destination (apart from Nice), a town on a hill/mountain with a beautiful view of the bay and st Cap Ferrat (lots of restaurants both in the city center as well as the harbourfront; we had lunch at La Grignotiere, another great restaurant!). It is a 5-10 minute walk from the center to the large, sandy beach (where ther were hardly any people when we were there). Near the beach there is a trainstaion from which you can taken the train to Nice center (runs every half hour) and takes about 6 minutes. To sum it up, we had a wonderful time in Nice. We loved the apartment, not only for its location, but also because it offered everything we needed. If we return to Nice, and we certainly will, this apartment will be number 1 on our list

“Excellent location, clean and comfortable, but may be noisy"” We are a family of 5, with three teens. This apt fits us nicely. The apt's strongest point is its location. It's one block from the beach and about 1km from downtown. There are so many shops and restaurants nearby, the selection is endless. When we showed up to check in at the agreed upon time, the host wasn't available. We had to call the manager (in the US) and then waited about 15 min for a back-up host to check us in. It wasn't a big deal but, after a long day of driving from Paris, it could have been better. When we were there (Nice) in mid July, the weather was beautiful -- warm in the sun, but cool in the shade. It's a good thing because we couldn't get either of the two A/Cs to work. We got it to blow air, but it wasn't cool. It turns out that the A/Cs weren't necessary, the apt was well ventilated and it actually gets cold in the evening. The host kept insisting that the A/C works, so I could be wrong (FYI: I'm an electrical engineer). One thing about Nice and open windows is that there are mosquitoes. On the other hand, even had the AC worked, I would have still open the windows for the fresh air and take my chances. Noise. Those two windows in the bedrooms? They're about a few arm lengths from the high-rise that's being built next door. Construction starts around 8-ish and doesn't end until at least afternoon. Today, the view from those windows is lovely. Once the other building is up, I'm not sure you will even get sunlight. All in all, even with hindsight, I would do it again. However, once the next-door building is completed and you lose the view and cross-wind, I'd think about it some more.

“Tidy, convenient, and good location” Very well organized apartment with full equipments. Convenient to live with children. The location is great. Direct bus to the airport. Bus station is just nearby. Close to the train station. Walking distance to the beach and old town.
