“Lovely cottage in the heart of the Perigord gastronomic region” Les Cerisiers was a delightful cottage for two with access to a huge garden. We spent nearly 3 weeks here. It sits on an escarpment overlooking the Bastide village of Monpazier. The cottage was well equipped, and comfortable and it gave us a base for our exploration of this fascinating region. It is a region full of history, pre-history and gastronomic delights. We had access to the rest of the world through both British and French TV, but found little time to watch. We could keep in touch with family via WiFi. We would be delighted to return.

“Beautiful villa, well equipped and in a beautiful area of France” Our trip was taken with 3 other couples from our Classic Car Club. It was my turn to organise the trip for this year, and I had the idea of renting a villa, which although we have holidayed together a couple of times before, we had always stayed in hotels to tour. The brief I had was that every couple wanted their own en suite, a private pool safe parking for our beloved jaguars and within a beautiful and interesting area of France. I can tell you that this is a tall order to fulfil! After hours of trawling the internet, I came across the Villa St Therese, and what a find that was!! The owner Rosemary Vine was so helpful and provided us with details of the house and of of the area. The best was yet to come, when we arrived at the house, it was far more impressive that we had imagined, and all of us were impressed with the setting, the quality of furnishings and with how well equipped the house was. Monpazier and the surrounding area is stunning. The only drawback was that the weather wasn't kind to us, but we had a great stay all the same.
