Villa San Foca con accesso diretto al mare m160
A wonderful stay at this Villa in San Foca and a perfect location to go and explore.

The Villa: For us it is located in the perfect place. Only 10 metres from the sea and about 50 metres to the sandy beach. The Villa has all the requirements which made our holiday perfect. A lovely little back garden leading directly to the sea. The rooms are perfectly adequate for our needs with a nice size kitchen and living area. The front of the Villa has a spacious patio with plenty of parking room and fronted gates. Made use of the BBQ in the garden in the evenings while looking out over the Adriatic Sea, Unfortunately we could not explore the spiral stairs to the roof as it was sectioned off. The property has 2 x double rooms, 1 x twin room, 1 x double sofa bed in lounge and 2 x single sofa beds in lounge. We did not check the sofa beds out. I would say it accommodates 6 people comfortably. San Foca: Does not really have night life but there are a few bars and restaurants to go to. Still it was nice to stroll along the water front and visit some shops in the evening. San Foca is quite a small place and generally very little traffic to worry about. If you like cycling, this is the place to do this as many use their bikes there. The bars / restaurants on the sea front much more expensive than those on roads adjacent to sea front. September is a good time to visit as July and August can be get very hot and it’s packed with tourists. You take a chance on the weather in September but we had lovely weather all the time we were there and was a lot quieter. Overview: Although we do not speak Italian and found that nearly most people did not speak English, we were able to get by very easily and the locals were very friendly and helpful and even learnt some Italian along the way. Things to do: We found some lovely places to visit, apart from the wonderful beaches you can find along the costal routes. Ortranto and Gallipoli stand out as wonderful seaside towns to visit for shopping, sight seeing, restaurants and bars. Arberobella is a (1h45 min drive from San Foca) as recommended by people we met, it really is a fairy tale village and very touristy but very pretty. Worth a visit. If your a keen water sports person, It's worth a visit to Alimini Beach, approx. 15 mins drive from San Foca where they offer Paragliding and other sports. We found a Scuba Dive school in Santa Caterina and our dive expert spoke good English. There is a good street market every Tuesday in San Foca, where you can buy some clothing items at good prices and great for buying beach towels, kitchen items etc. it’s worth a visit. Generally we would never go back to the same place twice as we like to visit different places in the world but we already considering booking the Villa again for next year 2018 if it is available for the 2 weeks we would like to go. We have to mention the lady Patrizia, who met us at the Villa and even helped us to book a boat trip, in Ortranto. Extremely helpful for anything we needed. … see more
Villa Lina
It was great

Description of Villa Lina is completely untrue, but the impression of being here will surpass any expectations. Equipped beaches, shops and entertainment market with excellent natural products can be found in the nearby resort towns Torre del Orso, and San Foca - 7-minute ride by bicycle, which hosts graciously provided us free of charge. We enjoyed biking on the paths laid out through the olive groves, always happy to return to our quiet and cozy Rocco. You can always replenish the supply of food and household meochey in several local shops, and the steps leading to the sea, located just beyond the threshold and you will be able to swim a minute later, after you have such a desire. Hosts Villa Lina and Luigi, as well as their sons, Antonio and Francesco incredibly friendly and hospitable. Leaving part of the house for themselves, they come here several times a week (mostly weekends). This way you will not feel lonely and always be able to get help, but at the same time, you'll feel absolutely free. Spent six weeks here (in June - July 2012) were really great. And we are extremely grateful to our wonderful hosts. Your question (if they still have) does not make any sense.
