“Lovely Family Holiday” Just got back from a lovely holiday at Vie Facile. The gite is (for us) perfectly located. It's peaceful and private but not isolated. The gite is very spacious, and so is the outside space. Plenty to keep the kids entertained (swings, trampoline, heated pool). The surrounding area is very nice too. Mont Castre is just down the road and is well worth a visit. The nearest town is La Haye du Puits and we were able to get all our supplies from the supermarket there and at the market (Wednesday). If you want to go to the beach I would recommend Barneville-Carteret. If you park at the car park at the end of the Route de la Vielle Eglise you have the Cap de Carteret straight ahead, a huge non-touristy beach to the right and a more touristy beach to the left. We also wanted to go to Portbail but we ran out of time. When getting presents to take home go to La Masion du Biscuits, for you've guessed it, biscuits. The owners live on site (Joanne and Sharon) and they both friendly and helpful. We had a really good holiday at Vie Facile and it's somewhere we all want to holiday at again.
