“With some downside ...” The house has enough place for a big family- we have 4 children. It has two bathrooms ant three bedrooms, that is great. You don´t find this everywhere. Cardoso is a very good base to discover Tuscany. And that is a lot of work!!! The owner is really friendly. Nothing is perfect, so we had complained about the cleanliness of the kitchen. He promised to change it, and I´m sure he will do it. We are still in contact. We´ll come back next year!

“Beautiful Tuscany retreat set in idyllic scenery with easy access to Lucca, Florence, Pisa and more.” Clive and Lucy were excellent hosts giving recommendations for places to eat both locally and in Lucca, Florence and Pisa ,which we followed and were not disappointed, getting quality and an authentic Italian experience .The apartment was stunning with a beautiful terrace and back drop of the local mountains and olive groves.We shall be returning as there is just too much to see or do in one week.
