We are so happy we don't have to tell anyone how good the villa is as our guests do it for us. But for Caroline and me, the biggest plus is we have returning guests that love the villa as much as we do. We can relax knowing that it is in good hands. Good morning, sorry for the ants but we don't like to put chemical products all arround the villa, something that is invisible and more dangerous than the ants. About safe box villa has never had security problems as you saw the wall arround it is very secure and isolate the villa from the street. Sorry that you didn't feel comfortable.

Casa Charlana
Great villa, excellent service

We have just returned from a fantastic two week stay in Villa Charlana. Really enjoyed staying at this villa as the location was just perfect. Close to all the shops and restaurants in Puerto del Carmen yet located in a peaceful and relaxing neighbourhood. Loved it! It should be noted though that the walk back to the property from PDC is quite uphill. This wasn't a problem for us but it could be an issue for others perhaps those with young children or older travellers so worth remembering. The customer service we received from Gemma from the moment we enquired about the villa right through until our holiday was over was impeccable. She kept in contact with us over six months (we booked it back in January) keeping us updated and was always available to answer any questions we had. She very kindly offered us a late check-out when she noticed our return flights home were not until 7.25pm. As such we were able to spend our last day in Lanzarote relaxing by the pool and having lunch without worrying about our bags. The service continued throughout our holiday when we had a small water leak in the bathroom and had to contact the company. Even though it was a Sunday, we had a plumber there within 30 mins and the problem was solved. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking a villa with Gemma and her team. I think it would be hard to find better in Lanzarote! … see more

Lovely apartment

This is a great apartment well equipped for a holiday stay, kitchen has all essentials required though we ate out most of the time and only made coffee and toast a few mornings, but it has all u require if self catering. Lovely views from balcony, and enjoyed sitting there in mornings and early evenings. Can't really comment on pool as we never used it. Sun beds around pool are fixed so can't be adjusted if sitting upright or lying down, but Giles has provided 2 sun beds to be used on balcony, these can be adjusted! Great location to lots of local bars and restaurants and a short walk down to harbour area were you have plenty of choice for further eateries and bars. Giles replies promptly to all enquires, would definitely stay here again, had a lovely holiday and looking forward to next visit. … see more

An ideal place to stay

We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous villa which was exactly as described. It has everything you could possibly need and is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the flexibility of not having to go out to restaurants for every meal and being able to eat at the villa when we felt like a night in. The kitchen is really well equipped (there's even a slow cooker) and we made good use of it. The outside area is so private and secluded and is perfect if you don't want to be bothered by anyone. There are lovely comfortable loungers and a variety of seating areas. I'd be here forever if I was to list how good the villa is, so to sum it up, it is every bit as good as it looks and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.
