“Fully equipped villa in a great location” The villa had everything we needed (and more) and a lovely location.
Had a brilliant and relaxing family holiday away from all the maddening crowds but still enough to do (for a 7 year old and teenager!) Some fabulous restaurants around Latchi Marina and in Polis. Definitely worth hiring a car.
Highlight of the holiday was hiring a speed boat to go around the lovely coastline and enjoyed some great snorkelling.
Would definitely return to this villa.
“Idyllic” My wife and I have just returned from a stay at Capers. It was exactly as described by previous reviewers and by the owners.Everything was first class. The location, the layout of the villa, the decor, the facilities, the garden and the swimming pool.
The villa is located a 5 minute drive outside Latchi in a discrete development. It was very peaceful during our stay. There is a marvellous view from the garden towards Latchi and the distant hills and a view to Neo Chorio on the other hillside.these views are across open fields with trees.
There were sea views from the upper storey bedrooms combined with views over the well tended garden and excellent pool, both maintained to a high standard,as well as the views previously described.
The villa is well appointed and has every utensil and facility you would require for a holiday stay
The location is excellent if you want to chill out and yet near enough to Latchi with its lovely harbour and excellent restaurants and bars.It is just the right mix.Not too commercialised and retaining it's Greek flavour
A short trip to Aphrodite's Baths is worth the short drive. to enjoy a coffee or beer and enjoy the panorama.
This was one of the best holidays we have had superb location, lovely well equipped villa and warm November sun.
The description on the website is 100% accurate and Fiona is very helpful and friendly.
“Great value stay in ideal location” We had a great stay in Latsi, one of the last non-over-touristy locations in Cyprus. The early communication and information guide provided by the owner was great. The apartment was perfect, 3 mins walk from the beach, marina and restaurants.
“excellent!” spent a week to this beachfront villa and really enjoyed it! it's right on the beach and so peaceful so it is a perfect spot for relaxation. we had amazing sunsets while spending the evening swimming up to 8pm and then relaxing in the garden area over a bottle of wine. lovely property, excellent location, clean, spacious. looking forward to staying there again this year
“Excellent standard of accomodation and service - Highly recommend” We stayed in Apartment 225 in the Akamas Health Resort which is an oasis in Cyprus. The resort is spotless, well run, friendly, well designed and feels like absolute luxury. It is perfect for a tranquil get away from it all. It is a little cooler up in the hills so in October when we were there we didn't even need air con to sleep. The apartment was cleaned regularly during our two week stay, with fresh towels and linen. The interior design is modern luxury, with beautiful marble floors and white leather sofas (not my usual taste, but perfect for this setting) The washing machine was a great help especially as we made full use of the gym during our stay.
Best of all was the hot tub on the roof terrace next to the BBQ. The views are spectacular over Polis and Latchi and to sit and watch the stars in the hot tub was a regular highlight of our holiday.
The resort itself is on a steep hill, next to a small village - Droushia, and all apartment blocks are within walking distance of each other. The facilities are all to a very high standard, the indoor pool however was ice cold, so only venture into that if you are feeling very brave. The food in the restaurant was delicious and probably to the highest standard we had while in Cyprus. Presently, it seems that as the resort is only about 2 years old it is very quiet with lots of space, no fights for sun loungers etc with other guests. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful and it was so nice for once to be treated as you would expect from a 4* resort.
The resort is in a excellent location up in the hills between Coral Bay and Latchi / Polis so you can have your pick of the beaches. Although a car is essential, we highly recommend taking a drive down into the Akamas Peninsula to have a BBQ lunch at The Last Castle near to Lara Bay.
We would go back in a heartbeat, we thoroughly recommend the resort and apartment 225 especially, because it had such amazing views from the hot tub, with a large roof terrace and a more private enclosed feeling being at the back of the resort, overlooking everyone else.
“Superb location and facilities” Even better than described by Christos, The bungalow is right on the beach and the views are magnificent, It is fitted out with everything one could ever need and has been very well thought out. Even if it rains one can still dine outdoors as the outside dining table is under cover.
Very clean and bedding, towels etc were changed three times in our two week stay.
The village is only a few hundred yards away and has a very good small supermarket (Yiotis) with prices often cheaper than the big supermarkets. Local harbourside restaurants are all good with Molos possibly the best.
We will be back next year.
“Fantastic Villa Excellent Location” Dismiss any doubts you may have about dealing direct with an owner. Michael's friendly and professional approach is second to none. The Villa itself is fabulous in every way, equipped to a very high standard, fantastic location with stunning views, the garden, pool and outside area the perfect place to "chill". Locally the attention to detail is superbly managed by Mark. Overall the entire experience from first contact to handing back the keys at the end of a fantastic holiday was a 10/10.
“Amazing” My husband and daughter decided to take a short holiday and started looking on-line until we came across the Luxury penthouse at Akama health farm and spa. A really friendly and quick in keeping in touch owner helped us to book and in no time we were on the road heading towards the luxury resort. The place is really easy to find as it is situated at a fantastic location, of course we had very good directions from the owner as well. The resort offers easy access to Latsi and Polis the two main towns with fantastic beaches and watersports activities. And of course there is an easy access to all the small villages around Drousia. We were really excited to see how well decorated the place is, my daughter who is nine, wants to live n the penthouse, she was amazed by the stylish décor. The place has all the little kitchen utensils a housewife needs in her kitchen so we were able to prepare a small breakfast every morning ( the restaurant was offering breakfast as well but it was a bit expensive, so we prepared our own.) We also loved the Jacuzzi! A technician came to change the water after we requested and showed us how to work the buttons. So in no time we got it ready and working. This is really an amazing way to relax on your roof-garden, we used the Jacuzzi all the time, minimum 2ice daily. We loved how clean the place is and how friendly all the staff were.
There is a lovely swimming pool in the shape of Mickey which is kids friendly and my daughter was so happy playing all day in it. There are two more pools, one for really young kids and one indoor. My husband and I were happy tanning at the deck drinking our beer and freddo. The place offers great destinations for those interested to explore the area and visit some tourist destinations. For those interested to hop around the little villages, there is a rich culture and great Cypriot cuisine.
For those who want to relax and take advantage of the SPA, really good prices and excellent service.
We wish you happy holidays, book now!
“Stunning Views, relaxing property” We spent two wonderful weeks in the second half of october (a couple with two daughters 6 and 8y) together with friends who rented the villa just beside. Stephen kindly arranged that. All the time we lived on terrace, balcony and pool; including several BBQs. Only for sleeping we went inside. The villa was proper an well prepared. As a welcome we found a homemade cake from Andrea, the friendly and helpful manager from the supervising agency. For runners an ideal place to have fun on the Akamas Peninsula who begins just at the northern boundary of Neo Chorio, 1 km away. The garden was well maintained with diverse big trees and many flowering plants. Our little girls enjoyed the pool very much, but at the end of october it became a little bit cold. After 5 minutes of bathing we have to warm up in one of the deckchairs. That was the only thing feeling it was autumn. If it is allowed to place a wish we would like to have the big table in front of the kitchen and the small one on the upper terrace/balcony. Would be easier for the meals. In general: We will come back, very relaxing trip. Thanks to Stephen!
“"Fantastic"” We have just returned from an 8 day stay at this villa celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and had a lovely time.
A few little problems to start with which were dealt with efficiently by Maria & George-one being a plumbing issue which turned out to be next door's problem & the key safe code was not reset back to the original code by the previous guests.
The villa has everything that is required to make your stay comfortable-and even has beach towels now available to use.
The beach is literally a short walk from the villa-with just the public footpath to cross.
We had a hire car which took us over mountain tracks to the blue lagoon-an area of coast renowned for its crystal clear waters-which we visited again on a boat we hired from Latchi harbour.
One of the best memories of the holiday was watching a storm at night-out to sea-an unforgettable experience.
Would definitely recommend
