“The Blackberry Cottage: A Wonderful Storybook cottage” When we arrived at the cottage at first glance upon entering the garden I knew I would love the cottage. The garden was well maintained, terraced and filled with flowers. Stefano was there to greet us and showed us around the cottage and explained how to use the stove, washing machine, TV etc. The cottage was darling, very clean and tidy. I loved that the shower was perfect and that the water was hot. The fabulous views at the cottage were of the bay at LaSpezia. Good location: It is well located to restaurants, bars and markets and near the train station to the Cinque Terre villages, close to the ferry to the towns along the coast and is on the road to Cinque terre and hiking trails. There is a hiking trail that runs along the back of the cottage to a church and past many homes. We had a wonderful week exploring the area. I would certainly go back and to recommend it to my friends and family.

“Beautiful palazzo, wonderful region” I love this place! The owners are the nicest people in the world. Mirella and Francesco speak English well, and Francesco, a trained sommelier, gives outstanding wine tours. Visiting Lunigiana is like stepping back in time, before Tuscany became over-crowded with tourists. Amazing mountain scenery yet close to the sea. Highly recommended.
