“Great house with spectacular view” We stayed for two weeks in Villa Deniz, late June - early July 2012. Having rented some very nice houses in Spain and France previously we were delighted to find Villa Deniz to be our best experience so far. The small town of Kas and its surrounding is a charming destination and Villa Deniz, which is situated as close to the Mediterranean as you can get, is a large and very comfortable property. The terraces, where we spent a lot of time, offer spectacular views and you can also relax next to the water line by walkig down the stairs to the private terrace and sun chairs there. The water is clear and fresh but the kids nevetheless spent more time in the pool than in the sea. Turgay and Guslev, who manage housing practicalities, were very friendly and efficient and we lacked nothing. We hope to be back soon! Magnus and family, Sweden

“Felt like we won the lottery. !” Wow wow wow ! Totally amazing. Only 2 of us stayed here and it was out of this world and believe me we are very fussy people. Fantastic tv channels, plenty of utensils. The whole villa outstanding and to high standard and very clean. Fantastic transfer with Ahmet who also works in Kas always on hand to help and advise ... Nothing is too much trouble for him and he became our friend and always will be. Can't forget Sanveer the house keeper ....lovely man and very thorough. Plenty to do in Kas and fantastic eating out places. Totally recommend the corner cafe for breakfast and the best steak in the world for Jimmy joker. The people are so friendly and will do anything for you and the pharmacy in town speak perfect English. Will deco be returning. Thank you Orhan.

“Amazing Holiday” We have been to this villa twice now and have also booked for this summer (2012) Where do I start? Rob and Chris (the villa owners) make you feel like they are your best friends – right from the first contact through to welcoming you home – everything is done smoothly and the information they give you is great – nothing is too much bother and you just know everything has been taken care of and that there will be nothing to worry about. For an independent traveller who hates package deals, this really is reassuring. As for the villa itself, it is just AMAZING. The views from the villa over the sea and mountains are astounding but the sunsets are unreal. You can literally sit or lie on your bed (in any of the three bedrooms) and watch the sunset, or sit on the vast balcony with a glass of Rose and watch the dying embers of the day sink into the distant horizon. The facilities at the villa are outstanding. The outside has a great pool that is kept absolutely spotlessly clean by Ramazan, the pool and garden man. The pool is really big as most villas only have a small pool, there’s a really well designed gazebo outside and a fantastic BBQ and cool room where you can go if it gets too hot. But the gardens are the best and probably the best on the peninsular. There is such a range of lovely plants and shrubs and as the name of the villa suggests – there are numerous palm trees of different shapes and varieties. The photographs on holiday lettings and on the owners own website (palmvillakas.com) simply don’t do this place justice. The owners arrange all the transfers and car hire for you and Ramazan takes care of you day to day, brings you bread in the morning and puts the loungers out for you and cleans away every evening. I can’t recommend this villa highly enough. The location of the villa is just about as perfect as you could want – it looks straight out to sea and has the Taurus Mountains to the right and is in THE best spot for the new harbour which has recently opened as you can look out and see the posh yachts drift by. Also the fact it is close to Kas town which is probably the best kept secret in Turkey and you have the recipe for a perfect holiday. I think the best part of the villa is that it has its own private beach platform, with its own umbrella and loungers. There is no one to disturb you and you have the whole sea to yourself – you feel like a millionaire. The only downside is that it is probably not suitable for people with disabilities as there are quite a few steps down to the beach platform, but for the average person it is a great spot. My advice is to book early as it is nearly full by Jan/Feb. Can’t think of anything else to add, other than when you compare it to other luxury villas on the peninsular or in Kalkan – it is really cheap.
