“Fantastic holiday!! would thoroughly recommend Villa Palms” It was an absolute pleasure staying at Villa Palms, An?elka and Nikša were perfect hosts and would help you in any way they could, the apartments were spacious and spotlessly clean. The pebbled beach is a stones throw from the villa and i have to say i prefered this to sand (as we all know where the sand goes..Lol), just keep a pair of flip flops for getting into the water otherwise your feet will be sore. There is also regular buses to take you into Split which costs around 13 Kuna one way. You can also walk for miles along the beach in both directions of the Villa, where there is plenty of choice of restaurants and bars which will suit everyones budget. For the kids there is plenty to do weather it be a shot on the banana boat, sofa bed or dohnuts or for the bigger kids...Jet ski's, you will find this at the port which is about a 10 min walk heading towards Split, there is also plenty of excursions you can book, but we did find these cheaper to book actually in Split itself. Although there is a supermarket and bakers close by you might want to Stock up at the local market in Split which is on everyday selling Souvenirs,home grown fruit meat and veg. The weather was also fantastic and even though it did go up to the early thirtys we were greatful for the air con in the apartments. We had a mixture of ages in our party of 7 from the age of 9 to 76 and there wasnt one complaint and believe you me...thats what you need when your on holiday. “Great villa for a group of several families” We stayed at Villa GG, we rented 2 floors, in June with a group of 4 families (= 4 x 4 persons + 1 = 17 people) and it was really perfect. The villa is very well equipped for many people to stay comfortably. In addition to the nicely furnished interior, the outdoor elements added to the positive experience: the large balconies with fantastic views as well as the little backyard with children's playground and barbecue facilities made this villa a great place to stay for a group of several families. The nearby beach is only a few minutes walk down and it is also easy and fast to get to Split with public transportation or taxi. The owner, Grgo, was a nice person to get to know upon arrival, we felt very welcome and got many useful tips for the week. During the week Grgo also helped us to organize a great evening for our large group in the old village higher up on the hill watching the sunset and having a great dinner. All in all, a great week and we can definitely recommend this place.

“Wonderful!!” Do not hesitate to rent Villa Maris from Fabjan and Ivana. I would--and will-- go back there in a heartbeat. The two wonderful apartments are freshly decorated, well appointed and super clean. The relaxing garden comes complete with a beautiful little secluded lavender reading bed that makes you feel like you've just landed in heaven. The beach just in front of the house always has several chairs reserved just for Villa Maris renters and is not overcrowded. And Fabjan and Ivana are the most helpful, most kind owners we've ever rented a vacation home from. In a minute's notice, Fabjan patiently helped us organize so many wonderful outings. And although I was a bit hesitant about renting near Split instead of near Dubrovnik,I became enchanted by "the living palace" that is Split.

“Family retreat on the most beautiful adriatic coast” My wife and I with our 2 daughters, our sons-in-law and our grand children, 2 boys of 2.5 and 5 years of age, occupied the whole rental space for 2 summer weeks. This villa (as the others on Ruzmarin road) is built of famous white stone from that island. Carefully designed, maintained with love and care by owners Dinko and Mary, few steps from the private beach, with beautiful view from terraces to Biokovo mountain and adriatic sea, it proved to be an excellent place to stay for our family. Spending time on the beach was very pleasant, with extremely clean water for swimming, and natural shade available under the trees. Going back and forth from the villa to the beach was needed because of the kids, and very easy. Spacious terrace of the villa was our favorite place for meals and late in the evening, where we were sitting together, eating fish or meat from the barbecue (which was located in nicely designed corner of the villa property), drinking great local red vine (Dinko's recommendation), talking until late and playing cards occasionally. We also rented a car (in Supetar, first ferry stop from Split) for the whole stay, and used it on daily basis. The closest villages, Sumartin and Selca, were nice to visit during the day, although they used to become pretty quiet later in the evening. Our hosts Dinko and Mary were great, extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, with outstanding personal charm and taste.

“Clean, Specious, Bright, with the postcards view of Rovinj” We were greeted with warm, friendly and helpfull owners, Stefania & Cristian, in front of their apartment, that is located in the hart of the Rovinj. The apartment was beautiful, bright and very clean, looked like newly remodeled, with an amazing and romantic view from the upper level balcony, which we also found very practical for drying all the beach stuff.There is all the essentials that you need for the very comfortable stay, including all the grocery stores, cafes and restaurants near by. And there was a nice touch:The owners left a chilled bottle of Prosecco as a welcoming gift. We will visit again! Irena & Sasha Los Angeles
