We booked this house for a party of 4 adults and one almost 3 year old. It is in a very quiet residential area with easy parking outside should you need it. (We didn't hire a car) There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite, and there is another bathroom as well. The house was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, the kitchen particularly so. There is wifi, a dvd with selection of dvds to watch as well as books etc. There isn't a lot you need to take with you for entertainment.
About 5 minutes walk away across the land to the side of the house, there is a small mini market. (Turn left when you reach the road.) It stocks a small amount of essentials but it's much cheaper to shop further afield. There are a couple of bars along that road too, along with a chinese take away and also a pizza take away further down the road near a hotel.
There is a lovely small beach a 10-15 minute walk downhill. My husband and I walked from there into Albufeira which was probably a 40 minute walk along the coast across tracks and up and down hills.
From the house itself it is a 15 minute walk (downhill and virtually straight but some of it off road) to the marina where there are a selection of restaurants and a Spar supermarket. Many of the boat experiences depart from this point too. To walk into Albufeira and the beach there takes 30-35 minutes from the house. We found the taxi's to be very reasonable and were happy to use these on the return journey since the house is up a steep climb just as you get close to it and although we did it on several occasions, if you've had a long day at the beach and it's hot, which it was, a taxi ride is very welcome.
The pool at the villa is great. There are many pool toys which our granddaughter enjoyed (and we did too) which are kept in a store room outside, along with the washing machine. We paid for the pool to be heated. The air temperatures were at least 26 and probably closer to 30 at times but without the pool we probably wouldn't have used it at all. When we got there it was cold but by Tuesday it was better and after that it had reached its full temperature and was bliss. We spent many hours in it playing with the little one, who also loved it.
The house manager, Carmo, is incredibly helpful and made organising trips very easy indeed.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this house and would definitely recommend it to others without hesitation. Perfect Villa Escapes were a very good company to book with. They responded to any queries very quickly and I would certainly book another holiday with them. They were an excellent company to deal with. …
Our family of 10 spent a week at this villa in June 2018. Had a great time the villa has everything you would need. Really spacious and private lovely pool and grounds.would definitely book with perfect villas again. Thank you …
Lovely villa and location..... servicing could be better!
A perfect spacious family villa. Accommodation a good standard on a quiet villa community with short walks to everything you might need from beaches to restaurants to supermarkets. Only negatives were the cleaning staff who halfway through stay visited in the afternoon still using the same dirty clothes and mops they probably had at the start of the day, so leaving the villa with a rank smell! Then on the day before checkout (can't see why it wasn't left until the next day) the outside service arrived just before breakfast and left the pool and patio area flooded leaving us to clear up to make the area safe for the kids and suitable for the delayed breakfast! …
Perfect place for my family, friendly, spacious, with a great owner who went above and beyond,
Casa Coral was perfect for my family, there were 6 of us and it was very new, spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with easily room for 10. Note! Google World maps are so out of date! There are so many new homes around Casa Coral, and the Google map didn't show it or them. I was so worried, I checked in with the owner. She sent me a more up to date aerial view, which really helped! We wanted to be in an uncrowded area near to beaches and restaurants. We enjoy walking, and there were spectacular walks along the cliffs and to the local (stunning) beaches, which are really close. There are great restaurants within walking distance, including the one on Coelha beach, which is marvelous. It is very uncrowded in April! We used taxis to go places, and for shopping. We just hung out at the house around the pool, and played billiards a couple of the days. We loved the outdoor barbecue and the kids loved the pool, even though it's unheated; the weather was perfect for us. The best thing of all was the owner, Elsa. She was so helpful, and kind, I can't say enough about her. My husband and I took the train from Lisbon, and she picked us up at the local train station, and arranged for taxis for my son and family from the airport. There was fruit, milk and other goodies waiting for us in the fridge. The biggest supermarket is near Gale, called Appolonia, and taxis to there and to Albufeira are really reasonable, compared to a 6 passenger car, which we wouldn't use most of the time. In addition, the people of Portugal are wonderfully friendly, including the taxi drivers, so we loved our time in Portugal. …
