“SUPERB PART OF ITALY!” The house was finished to a high standard, with all facilities reqd. for a comfortable stay. The nearest house was about 50 yds away,so not overlooked at all. The views from the property are fantastic, with small villages & towns dotted around the hills, with mountains in the distance. The local restaurants, as recommended in the brochure, serve local produce to a good standard, and so cheap, including the wine! We had dinner out every evening, and I came home with e100! The local supermarket is cheap also compered to UK.
We flew into Rome, which left a 31/2 hour drive, with the help of a sat nav.which was invaluable. The scenery on this drive is spectacular, once you leave Rome, but it may not suit everybody on the Italian autostrada!
We have always gone to the med. coast when visiting Italy before,or the lakes, but the Abbruzo region on the Adriatic is impressive, and laid back. We enjoyed a week there,if we went again, we would probably fly to Pescara, about 15 miles from the house. All in all very good.
Detached villa with large private pool and amazing view , garden and olive grove
We fell in love with Italy and Abruzzo on this visit - hope to return again soon.
This was our first trip to Italy and flying in via Rome from Manchester was very convenient. The drive across Italy was easier and more pleasant than we expected and Casa Foelas a wonderful haven of a journey's end.
The views from the house are spectacular and it makes a terrific base for exploring the locality. We were out a lot as the weather was marvellous, but the place would make an equally superb base for a lazy holiday, it is so comfortable and has a wonderful feel.
We did a mixture of self-catering and eating out, both of which were good value to the point of being cheap.
Can't wait to go again and see it at different times of the year.
Great holiday rental experience! …
Abruzzo Villa di Stelle Swimming Pool WIFI private and oanoramic.
The best place in Italy
We visited there during the winter and it was amazing! The view is outstanding and breath taking. The place is far away from everything and you can see only view around you but yet everything you need is 5 minutes drive away. The house itself is very homey, you can see that Jo and Chris put a lot of a effort in choosing the right furnitures and art pieces to make the guests feel in a very unique place but yet very comfortable. Jo and Chris were lovely and gave us the feeling we are their home guests, they helped us explore the area by giving us all the useful and the secret tips. If you are looking for a magic vacation in a peaceful Italian surrounding in a Vila that every little detail was thought of, so you must go to Jo and Chris. …
