“Lived up to and beyond expectations!” We had a most delightful five days in La Petite Maison and our only disappointment was that our stay was not longer! It really is a beautiful place; not only the well appointed accommodation - finished to a very high standard, but the tranquility of the surroundings made it a real relaxing break for us. The owners are excellent hosts; on hand if you need them but otherwise they leave you to enjoy your stay. Plenty of information is available on the local area. Wonderful swimming pool which our teenage son made full use of. We will definitely return!
“Perfect family location” My husband & I spent a lovely 2 weeks in this delightful holiday property with our 4 children and their families. The situation was perfect for young children with the gated pool and large garden an instant hit. The daily short walk to the boulangerie with a stop for coffee at the bar provided a good opportunity for rudimentary French lessons. The surrounding area is ideal - beach for little ones and a wealth of 'degustation' for older ones as well as good local markets. It was hard to fit everything into the 2 weeks. Tracy and Brian were ideal owners - there if needed, which we did when our 2 year old became ill, but ínvisible when not. Delighted to recommend.
“A comfortable spacious property in a woodleand setting” We enjoyed our stay at this well-designed house and had everything that we needed. With a mall baby we could not travel far but were able to use the local supermarkets and shops. The pool and satelite tv were a real bonus. Paul was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. We would recommend the house for any one wanting a relaxing hoilday
“The Manoir at Rigal is a taste of paradise” The Manoir and it's surroundings more than exceeded our expectations; it was amazing. It's nestled in the beautiful countryside close to a charming village with lovely views wherever you look. It's hard to believe than such a gem exists within easy access to both Bergerac and all the wonderful sights that the Dordogne offers. We especially loved the little Bastide towns which were brimming with delightful attractions and of course history. The Manoir itself is stunning, even better than the pictures on the internet and the renovation is a perfect blend of good taste and charm. The swimming pool is the best outdoor pool we've been in especially as the "salted" water means there are no sore eyes. I expected the water to be like the sea but it was much better than that in fact perfect. We loved the animals on site too. It was lovely to wake up to see the chickens wandering around and the cats asleep in the garden. We had a wonderful holiday and can't wait to return. Chris & Jacky were perfect hosts and we cannot recommend it enough.
