“The best holiday rental any of us have ever stayed!” We stayed at Fattoria Vecchia Quercia for a week in early September, as a group of 12 adults, and had an absolutely fantastic holiday. Francesca and her family could not have made it easier for us, from booking right through to leaving at the end of our holiday (which none of us wanted to do!). She was very flexible and helpful, and I would highly recommend you take her and her husband up on their delicious home-cooked Italian meal - the food and the experience were incredible. I think I'm still full a month later. Approaching the house, you cannot believe how idyllic it looks. The location and the views are spectacular. Overall, the house was beautifully finished, had plenty of space for a large group, was immaculately clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you might need to cook for a large group and the industrial strength dishwasher was a godsend. Poppi is easy to get to and has all shops you'd need. Florence, Pisa and Luca are all easy day trips but honestly, we would have happily not left the house once all holiday!
