From the owner

Original 1860 Holiday Vigneron in the heart of the medieval circularde Minervois village of Ginestas. Large private pool and garden, but restaurant, bar and food shop/boulangerie within 5 minutes' walk. The pool stays a constant 24C. Newly landscaped garden too.

The village is surrounded by vineyards, 30 minutes' drive to the sea, spectacular beaches and the towns of Narbonne or Carcassonne. Huge national park for trekking/walking within 15 minutes. Newly renovated. Within easy reach of 5 airports, yet a quiet country area. The Canal du Midi and the canal port of La Someil just 5 minutes' drive. Also a convenient 3 minute walk from the Chateau des Puits es Pratx.

Everything is traditional French, not flatpack chipboard!

Bicycle hire, boat hire or cruises, even 2CV hire!, available by the day or week from within 5 minutes' drive. In the heart of an area filled with beautiful villages, chateaux and vineyards open for tasting and small restaurants offering gourmet food for low country prices. Fishing, walking and every other country activity are on offer in this spectacular area.

Full wifi, 2 tvs, including English language, and every other facility. The owner has four other holiday homes in Switzerland, Italy and the UK, for rental, all of which are consistently top-rated due to the carefully chosen locations and level of equipment and facilities to the highest standard.

One of five places I have listed. Almost 1000 guests a year now stay at my five holiday homes run by me. The average rating of over 250 online reviews is 4.9 stars!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
