“Attractive Apartment close to City” We stayed 5 nights in this lovely apartment only 20 minutes walk from Florence City. This newly painted and decorated apartment had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The two large bedrooms are upstairs have massive storage areas & very comfortable beds & linen. Bathroom is very modern and like the rest of the apartment spotlessly clean soft towels & toiletries are also supplied. Downstairs was a wonderfully appointed separate kitchen/dining area with large refrigerator and dishwasher. The lounge was also comfortable & simply but beautifully decorated. The laundry/toilet room had a really good washing machine and although there was no dryer a special "outdoor" area upstairs was really good for drying our clothes. Wifi worked really well although we had a small hiccup with connection but it was fixed before we knew it! Our hosts parents could not do enough to help us initially with showing us around the apartment and even carrying our bags up the internal stairs but also helping us downstairs when we left ...even rang us a taxi. They also supplied local maps with information already marked for us. The neighbourhood had quite a few bakeries and good cafes serving wonderful espresso & pastries for breakfast if you got tired of cooking in the lovely kitchen. We loved the apartment and Florence so much we have booked a further 4 nights at the end of May....can't wait to go back!!! By the way even though it is two easy flights of stairs up there is a great elevator to use when tired and even better for those heavy suitcases.

“A great place to unwind!!!” From the onset, we received a very warm reception and welcome from host Matteo. My children now call him "Uncle Matteo". This converted monastery has all the charm expected from the Tuscan countryside. Our 2 bedroom unit did not have any great view, but it was very very spacious (with added upper loft- did have a view here) and 2 bathrooms. We did see a one bedroom unit that had a beautiful view if that is important to you.There is no in-suite dishwasher or laundry, but we just hand-washed clothes we needed and hung outside on hanging rack. We felt very comfortable on the whole premises - like home away from home. Although units don't have individual balconies, there are many inviting common areas throughout the premises where one could relax, read in solitude and enjoy. After travelling through the big 3 cities of Italy- Rome, Venice and Florence, it was great to plop down here for 5 nights and slow down the pace by lounging by the large, beautiful, clean pool. Spent evenings eating alfresco by the pool and kicking around the soccer ball with our children. Definitely need a rental car to visit nearby towns and get groceries. Montalcino is about a 10 minute drive away. There is a full grocery store there. We had an excellent meal and service at Re di Macchia in Montalcino. Also recommend visiting nearby Pienza where you can see the varieties of pecorino cheese and wild boar salami (note to Canadians- you can not bring back any wild boar salami- we had 8 packages of it confiscated at Canadian customs). Visit older gentleman - Lorence in Pienza for a beautiful custom-made leather belt. (may need 2 days for production depending on season). It was my 10-year old son's first leather and it is the best souvenir we brought back from Italy. This agriturismo is very calm, relaxing and welcoming. Matteo is a wonderful host that makes everyone feel comfortable. Thank you.

“Very clean and charming apartment in perfect location.” Everything was perfect except that there wasn't enough supplies for our stay. There was barely enough toilet paper for two days (and we were staying for four days) and only enough blankets for two people (and there were three of us). Other than these inconveniences, everything was super organized.

“Amazing!” This apartment is right in the heart of EVERYTHING! Including the train and bus areas. We travelled through Italy using the train system. So easy! The Duomo is a step away and a great view from the windows. Across town to the Arno River was just a short and beautiful walk. My husband and I stayed in the apartment for nearly a month. It become home to us. We hated leaving. Way better than a hotel stay. The apartment has so much rich history. It really shows pride of ownership. We took to it right away. And even referred to it as home. Every modern convenience is there. Very clean. Air conditioning worked beautifully. The owners from the get go were so friendly and accommodating. Any questions we had they would research if we couldn’t find something. The neighborhood is great for any type of shopping you want or need to do. And the neighbors are all so friendly. We got to know them better than our neighbors at home. They really looked out for us! Now we know the next time we are in Italy where we want to stay.
