"Excellent, clean, home from home"

Stayed here for two nights with my husband . The cottage has everything you need, it was a very cold and rainy weekend but coming back to the warm cottage was great. Very well situated for local amenities. Also went to Scarborough which was about half an hour away. Hopefully will stay here again. I have told all family and friends and work colleagues about this cottage.

Dear Guests Thank you for choosing Anstis Cottage for your stay in Whitby and for your comments. Look forward to welcoming you again soon. Regards Allison and Tony

"Modern comforts with rural views -warm and cosy."

Had a great stay in Anstis Cottage over October Half term. It has all the mod-cons a family needs, not only in the kitchen but with satelite TV,WiFi and loads of books/magazines and boxed games, no-one got bored. With terrible weather we appreciated the efficient heating and with high demand for the bathroom, there was lashings of hot water for showers etc. Great location away from the bussle of Whitby with great views at the back, yet 3 minutes by car you are in Whitby centre. Comfy beds, lots of wardrobe space, and bunks for the kids (even tall teens) were great. We will be back.

"It's a must stay"

What more could you ask for of a holiday home. At Anstis Cottage, nothing. Everything has been thought of all you need to do is bring yourselves, food, drink and your personal essentials. The location is great, a 20 minute walk (on the flat) in to Whitby so not a struggle to park. The views across the countryside are fantastic. Ideally located for visiting local beaches or the Moors. We will definately be going back.

"Relaxing holiday location"

Good location, comfortable, well appointed accomodation with nice views over the moors and within easy reach of Whitby.
