Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, is a historical village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and is centrally located with easy access to the major cities of art and places of interest. Podere Zollaio is on the outskirts of Vinci and has a beautiful view of the village.
The Archi is one of our holiday apartments and it includes a well equipped kitchen, 2 shower rooms, a lounge area with satellite TV and a double bed.In addition in the in the lounge area there is a single day bed and a single sofa-bed.
Outside there is a patio with tables to dine 'al fresco' and space to relax with beautiful views over Vinci village and the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool and whirlpool area is ideally located to enjoy the views and the sun.
For the joy of your palate we produce our own excellent extra virgin olive oil. But images speak more than words and we can assure you that the reality is even more beautiful. Simply treat yourself to a holiday with us.
We are always on site to answer any question, to offer help and advice or to give a tour of the vineyard and the olive groves.

The garden/patio and the swimming pool area, both with a beautiful view of Vinci, will invite you to relax and feel recharged.
For our younger guests we have a swing, a sand pit and a lot of space to run around.
Our guests love to find their favourite spot to sit and contemplate nature with a glass of our wine!
Or why not try the famous "Florentine steak" grilled on the BBQ and served with chopped rosmary and a drizzle of our extra virgin olive oil.
For animal lovers we have 9 cats, 2 goats (Martina and daisy) and 3 donkeys ( Camilla, Viola and Gino).
The booking is valid once we have confirmed receipt of your deposit which is one third of the total rental amount.A further third of the total amount is then to be paid one month before arrival.The balance will then become due on your arrival in Euros cash.
The minimum rental period during High Season is one week from Saturday 2.00pm to Saturday 9.00am inclusive
During low season we are happy to accept bookings for shorter periods
The price of rental is based on 2 people sharing.
Extra beds are available to rent at an additional payment of €30 per week.
The price of rental includes all mains services, wifi hotspot, use of swimming pool and whirlpool (in summer) and 8 hours of heating in winter.
Linens and towels are provided with the exception of beach towels for use at the pool which can be hired at the cost of Euro 3 each.
For periods of rental of two weeks or more a change of linens and towels is provided.
Children under the age of three stay free of charge and we'll be happy to provide you with a high chair and cot.
Prior to departure a fee of €30 is payable for final cleaning of the apartment.
Tourist tax is Euro 1 per person per day and it is calculated for a maximum of 6 days. Children under the age of 14 and registered disabled people are exempt.
The Tuscany region
Enjoy staying in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. There are many fascinating cities within easy reach: Florence Km. 45, Lucca Km. 55, Pisa Km. 55, Siena Km. 70 and the seaside (Viareggio Km. 75) are well worth a visit and will offer you many different magical and cultural places to visit such as Volterra, San Gimignano and Certaldo.
If you like a good drive then you can loose yourself in the tuscan countryside: there are many scenic routes to choose from.
If you like good food there are many local produce to try: Chianti Montalbano, extra virgin olive oil, truffles from S.Miniato, Empoli artichokes, brigidini from Lamporecchio and wafers from Montecatini as well as special dishes like ribollita (bread soup), florentine steak, wild boar dishes, arista ( pork roast), porchetta, pecorino (sheep milk cheese), fried courgette flowers as well as gelato, focaccia, chocolate and many many more.

In the village there are 2 museums dedicated to the life and works of Leonardo and from April to June Vinci holds special "Lectures" and cultural events to celebrate the life of its most illustrious citizen.
During the summer there are many village fairs and "sagre" with many different events, local specialities, and of course fireworks.
Other importants event in the village life are the vine harvest in September and the olive harvest from October to Dicember.
