Situated in the outskirts of an historic village, this elegant and comfortable wing of the owner's house is a wonderful romantic destination perfect for two.This charming wing of the owner's home is situated on the rural outskirts of Abbeydorney, just six miles from the town of Tralee. With countryside views, this property offers open-plan living accommodation and one double bedroom, making it a wonderful romantic getaway. There is also shared access to the owner's large garden â an excellent spot for relaxing in the sun â and the local shops and pubs of the village are within easy walking distance. The town of Tralee is also close by and provides everything a visitor could need for a relaxing yet entertaining stay.

Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV, radio/CD, WiFi. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared (with owner) lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ. One small well-behaved dog welcome, not to be left in the property alone. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Property is not suitable for infants as no room for cot. Please note the property does not supply towels.

Region: County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Town: Offering local shops and pubs as well as an old forge dating back many centuries, the village of Abbeydorney is situated to the north of County Kerry. Kyrie Eleison Abbey is situated on the outskirts of the settlement and dates back to the 12th Century, whilst the surrounding area is home to the impressive Ballymacaquim Castle at Killahan and the Museum and Heritage Centre at Kilflynn. The region also offers good walking and cycling opportunities as well as a range of other attractions, including the lively town of Tralee and Banna beach. Tralee itself offers a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants, whilst the beach provides fantastic water sports and swimming opportunities.

A quiet comfortable friendly place to stay.

We had a wonderful week, a very friendly welcome and everything we needed in the cottage. It was warm comfortable and exactly what it said when advertised.
