From the owner

The spacious house was built in 1926 influenced by the Arts and Crafts period. It's a one of a kind of house with wooden floors throughout and a grand staircase. It has all the home comforts for a fabulously relaxing holiday & the benefit of off road parking!

It’s private, clean, comfortable and the large rooms lend themselves to family and friends gathering at any time of year. The lounge, dining room and garden can easily accommodate 10 people. The furniture is an unfussy, eclectic mix of old and new.

The four bedrooms are simply furnished with blackout blinds. I have 2 small single beds that can be moved to suit your needs eg. a child in with mum and dad or 3 children in 1 room.

The bathrooms have been recently refurbished and there's a downstairs loo. There is a baby bath, step stool, potty and toddler loo-seat should you need it.

Enjoy coffee or tea in the morning sun on the terrace.

The formal dining room with open fireplace is lovely for a celebration meal, either takeaway or cooked in the separate, well equipped kitchen.

After dinner there are plenty of board games to play.

The lounge has a log burner and is arranged for conversation but you are welcome to move the TV to a more watchable position. There is a Fire-stick to log in with your own account.

Perfect place to spend NYE with all the family

Gorgeous house, very spacious, well equipped and great location. The hosts were extremely accommodating with check in/out times which hugely helped. Would definitely visit again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
