"Excellent house and stunning views."

An excellent modern house with all mod cons set in a peaceful location with great views of the mountains and Lochinver. Plenty of local amenities just a couple of minutes away in the village of Lochinver. We all had a great week staying here and would highly recommend.

Thanks for your great review, glad you all enjoyed yourselves and had a great stay.

"A very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

Despite the appalling weather that we experienced during our week at Waterloo House we had a very enjoyable week. This had a lot do with the property which was a very comfortable retreat from the outside world. Nearly everything you need is provided in the property so you don't need to take much with you. The setting is superb with stunning views.

Many thanks for your review, Glad you had a great time, come back soon!

"Amazing accomodation, excellent location"

The owner of Lochinver House has thought of everything to accommodate visiting families and I mean everything!

Simply bring your own food and EVERYTHING else is catered for.

We stayed at the house in April 2014 and were blown away by just how good it was, from the large screen TV with Wifi access to the sound dock for playing music, the owner has all thought of all of the mod cons.

The house itself is immaculate and very well presented, the lounge area is comfortable for just relaxing and looking out to the awe-inspiring view, its spacious and luxurious, the beds are very comfortable and linen new and fresh. The bathrooms are excellently appointed with power showers throughout. The kitchen has every gadget and cooking utensil you could imagine.

We loved the hot tub, which was great even though the outside temp was pretty cool in April.

In Lochinver itself we ate very well at both the Caberfeidh restaurant and the Lochinver Larder and we were able to pick up bits and pieces at the two local (smallish) supermarkets.

The local beaches are first class and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our trip, we are a family of four (two adults and two kids) and we'd highly recommend this place as a great break away from the city/town.

Many thanks for your fantastic review! I'm glad you had a great holiday! Come back soon!

"relaxation"

We traveled for 5 hours much of it through beautiful countryside. Once arriving at Ben's you could not help but be impressed by the well appointed home, full of all mod cons. My boyfriend especially loved the smart tv and sound bar as he misses these kind of things when away. The bedroom we used had a wonderfully comfortable bed ( im sure the others are too), and great views of the loch and harbour. We enjoyed exploring the walks and local beaches, walking boots and clothes are a must. We enjoyed a warm welcome in the town, people waved from their cars, a bit of a chat in the pubs( one was shuts a few days per week in off season). Even though many of the tourist attractions were closed it didn't matter to us, march/April many advertised to open again. We went to walk and relax in a great hot tub in a beautiful setting and we certainly got that. The owner Ben was helpful and contact via email was of the right amount, sent us the weather for the week and checked on us mid stay, we met his father who was lovely also. We loved the hens that roam their land too some very free range eggs. I would recommend you go for a drive round the area near by too, the costal roads are narrow twisty but the surfaces are good watch out for the sheep that wander freely too.

Hey Nicola, many thanks for your kind review. I'm glad you had a great time! I hope you visit again in the not so distant future.
