We have two extra single beds which are made up reday, please note that this is for alternative sleeping only as they are in two of the 5 double rooms (please ask if they are needed) there is no charge for this. Ideal if you have young children or teenagers that may need separate beds but in the same room.

Comfortable large modern lounge having a cozy real wood burning fire with archway to a quality pool table.

Fresh linen and ample towels are provided free of charge during your stay.

Parking at property is IDEAL FOR 3 CARS (we appreciate that sometimes there may be more than 3 cars and if so there is ample parking only 50 yds from the property but we do ask that guests please try to keep cars to a minimum).

If you have any requirements about beach cottage please give me a ring and i will try to answer any questions you may have. we are here to help in any way possible.

Our property is ideal for guests with mobility difficulties. Residential and care parties are always welcome. Beach Cottage has easy access throughout, being all on ground level with extra wide doorways, large bedrooms and a larger than average main bathroom, ensuring getting around the property is not an issue
We also have available front wheelchair access straight into one of the main bedrooms at the front of property.

Conditions

Please note that arrival is 4pm to enable us the time to ensure everything is cleaned and checked properly.
departure time is 10 am (please make sure you are ready to leave by this time as cleaners will be arriving
to clean for guests due to arrive that day).
We do ask that you do your best to leave the proprty in a clean condition.
Any damages must be reported to us please.

The North Wales / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region

Conwy's magnificent castle and fine shopping in Llandudno are about 20 miles distant, whilst the Roman walled city of Chester, renowned for its cultural attractions as well as its superb shopping opportunities and excellent zoo are around 25 miles away.Various 18 hole golf courses within a 30 mile radius, sea/course fishing, tennis and riding can all be found nearby and Snowdonia's spectacular mountains and outdoor pursuits are under an hour's drive.A variety of National Trust heritage stately homes and fine castles can be found all within 1 hours drive, Caernarfon castle,Beaumaris castle and Rhuddlan castle as well as Bodnant gardens,Bala,Portmerion,Betws y Coed and Beddgelert .North Wales is definitely well worth a visit.

The Kinmel Bay area

As well as being just two minutes walk from an open sandy beach, our property has two child friendly pubs and restaurant 300 yards away,various shops,take aways,hair salons,a post office and supermarket are all within a 5 mins walk. The main town of Rhyl offers great shopping,a modern theatre,various swimming pools, sea life centre,sports centre,cycle hire,skate park and a Sun Centre,with indoor water slides and wave machine, all under ½ mile. A wealth of lively facilities, including go karts, new outdoor swimming pool,modern cinemas,newly built children's drift park with climbing frames,large outdoor shallow children's pool,various nightclubs,pubs,wine bars and amusement arcades can also be enjoyed on Rhyl promenade.
You will also find a fun fair,go-karts and horse racing at Towyn just 1 mile from property.

llandudno with its fine shopping,bars,great walks and newly introduced outdoor dry ski slope, large theatre and cable cars can be found around 20 miles away.

If you are looking to book a holiday in North Wales that offers the best of both worlds,be it peace and quiet or plenty to do for all the family, Beach Cottage is the ideal base for all ages to enjoy a great holiday together.

We reccommend travelling to the property by car, though train is also possible. The nearest station is Rhyl, approximately 3 miles from the cottage, which has good taxi and bus links to the property location.

“Lovely weekend away at Kinmel Bay...” Just returned from our weekend stay at Beach Cottage and had a lovely break. We were pleasantly surprised to find the heating on and lights on a timer so that we didn't have to fumble around in the dark for keys and the house was nice and warm. The layout worked really well for us with two of the bedrooms having en-suites and the other three sharing a large bathroom. The whole cottage is really well furnished with the kitchen becoming the hub as always. It's really well equipped, with enough crockery and glasses for the ten of us, washing machine; dishwasher; fridge and separate freezer etc... A stone's throw from the cottage is a footpath that leads directly to the beach, the kids loved skimming stones in the sea, there's also a viewing platform on the beach which has great views along the coast and inward to the Welsh Hills. Back to the cottage, there is a private garden with large seating area at the rear, which also has a BBQ, I would imagine it would be great in the summer for al fresco dining. The area is residential and there is a caravan park backing on to the boundary of the cottage but I can't see this being a problem, it certainly wasn't for us. If you are looking for a large good quality rental cottage in North Wales, then Beach Cottage is ideal.
