Situated on the East coast this brick built holiday chalet is located 6 miles North of Great Yarmouth at the heart of the pretty and popular coastal holiday village of Hemsby. This self catering Chalet is located at Sundowner Holiday Park, on Newport Road, which is within walking distance from the glorious beaches of Newport and Hemsby, famous for mile upon mile of golden sands and bathing in uncrowded conditions. The chalet is available to hire from early April until early October. All breaks are for full weeks, Saturday to Saturday.
Sundowner Holiday Park is a family orientated park but still offers peace and tranquility if preferred. The Park is a well maintained site and our holiday chalet is situated in a particularly pleasent part of the park. This delightful 2 bedroom single storey property is nicely presented and offers good clean comfortable fully equipped self- catering holiday accommodation suitable for up to four people. It benefits from a lovely sunny aspect with a paved seating area to the front and has car parking very close by.
Facilities on the site include a 75 seat restaurant and bar, amusement arcade and launderette. Nearby is the Bermuda Park which offers a 400 seater clubhouse which during the main season features live entertainment and their indoor swimming pool is also available to non residents at a small entrance fee during the main season.
Nearby Beach Road has first class entertainment and amusements to suit everyone. A superb range of facilities including shops, cafes, bars, cabaret venues, bingo, gift shops, food outlets, a funfair and amusements of all types. A wide variety of snacks are available, with takeaway food bars catering for all tastes. Not far is the popular and lively seaside resort of Great Yarmouth,Pleasurewood hills amusement park and the "fine city " of Norwich.
So if you are looking for a holiday location to either relax and laze away your time in the sun or if you prefer those family days out exploring Norfolk, what better location could you choose as the ideal base for you and your family.

The chalet is well equipped for all your holiday needs and convenience, and accommodates up to four people. It is in excellent decorative order with a spacious lounge which has a comfortable sitting and dining area and is well furnished with easy chairs and settee (not bed settee), colour television & Freeview, fitted carpet and electric heating.
The kitchen is well designed with electric cooker, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and microwave oven as standard. It also has crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils to make your self catering holiday easier.
The tiled bathroom has full size bath, wash basin and toilet. Constant hot water is provided by an immersion heater and use of electricity is free of charge.
There are two bedrooms one with a double bed the other with two single beds and both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There are fitted carpets throughout and equipped with a upright vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board for your convenience.
BED LINEN - Duvets and pillows are provided.
Please note : Items NOT provided are - sheets, quilt covers, pillow cases, towels and any other linen item that may be required.
ELECTRICITY- use of electricity is free of charge

There is plenty of Car parking adjacient to the chalet.
The site is well cared for and the chalets are situated amidst well tended lawns, making it a safe place for children.

Bookings run from Saturday (arrival from 3 pm) to Saturday (depart by 10 am)
ALL MALE / ALL FEMALE OR TEENAGE GROUPS:
Sundowner is a family holiday park; we regret we cannot accept bookings from
(a) teenage groups,
(b) all Male or all Female groups, except mature persons over the age of 35,
(c) persons under 25 years of age.
All parties must also be accompanied by at least one responsible adult over the age of 25 years.
The chalet sleeps 4 persons ( this includes children and infants),no more than this number is allowed.

The East Anglia / Norfolk region


The stunning region of Norfolk is situated on the east coast of the country and is famous for its natural unspoilt beauty. An abundance of green fields and hedgerows hide picture box perfect villages and hamlets.
Norfolk, probably most famed for its' Broads is a network of inland water ways (Britains' newest designated National Park) is one of the U.Ks' most popular holiday destinations.
Such places as Wroxham, Horning, Ludham, Potter Heigham attract many visitors returning year after year wishing to enjoy the scenery, wildlife (especially birds), sailing, pleasure boating, fishing and the attraction of old worlde pubs and taverns on the river banks.
The fine historical city of Norwich has everything a visitor could wish for, 21st century shopping malls and market, cafe culture and nightclubs side by side with the medieval castle now a museum with many treasures and its cathedral built at the time of the Norman Conquest.
Several properties owned by the National Trust are within easy reach and the Royal Estate at Sandringham is about an hour's drive from Hemsby.
The Great Yarmouth / Hemsby area
A prime holiday area with over 15 miles of fantastic coastline with excellent sandy beaches within the Great Yarmouth area, from Winterton-on-Sea in the north to Hopton-on-Sea in the south. It's all part of a great coastline offering an attractive blend of wide sandy beaches, sand dunes and cliffs – all in all, the toast of the Norfolk Coast.
Famous for its seafront ‘Golden Mile’- the pulsating heart of the resort, Great Yarmouth remains one of the top seaside resorts in the UK, With its famous bright lights, sandy beaches lined by the impressive Marine Parade with its countless attractions and colourful gardens. An array of amusements and attractions, a wealth of restaurants and a traditional pier, you’ll never be short of ideas of things to see and do no matter what the weather.
Great Yarmouth boasts a host of family attractions including the sealife centre, Pleasure Beach, Merrivale Model Village. There is also has a number of excellent museums including the Time and Tide museum, the Nelson Museum and the Elizabethan House museum. The annual Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival held on the South Quay take place each September.
On a Wednesday and Saturday a market is held in the town centre, this is very popular with locals and holiday makers. Great Yarmouth racecourse holds superb flat racing fixtures from Easter through the summer to October and the stadium at Caister provides greyhound racing and stockcar racing most weeks.

BY CAR:
The region is easily accessible by road from all parts of the UK. Major trunk roads into Norfolk are the M11, A11, A12, and A14 from London and the south -east, while the A47 and the and A14 serve the Midlands and the north. Enter NR29 4NW into your SatNav
BY RAIL:
The average journey time from London to Great Yarmouth is 2 hours 20 minutes. A taxi ride to Hemsby will take approximately 20 minutes. Connecting services are available from the Midlands, the north of England and Scotland, via Peterborough and Cambridge. There are also local links from Norwich to Great Yarmouth.
BY AIR:
From Norwich airport, twenty miles by road. Approx 40 mins travelling time. Taxis and buses available
One hour 45 minutes drive from Stanstead Airport, with Ryan Air and Easy Jet flights.
BY SEA:
Felixstow port is 107km (66 miles) travel time approximately 1hr 45 minutes
Harwich port is 125km (86 miles) travel time approximately 2hrs 30 minutes

BOOKING DEPOSIT.
We ask for a deposit of £40 per chalet per week booked to secure your booking and the outstanding balance is payable 4 weeks before the holiday begins.
Bookings made within 4 weeks of the start date of the holiday, must be paid in full at the time of booking. Please note your deposit is non-refundable in all cases in the event of cancellation.
CONFORMATION OF BOOKING:
A booking will be held for 5 days to allow for the receipt of your deposit. We will send confirmation of this as soon as your deposit and completed booking form is received.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Preferred payment is by cheque, postal order bank tranfer or major credit/ debit card through PayPal(3% charge for PayPal transactions).
