“Homely, tranquil cottage in picturesque town with plenty to do and see... Awesome!”
My husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at Strawberry Mill. The cottage is immaculate, charming and homely. It is fully equipped and a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding areas.
There is much to do and plenty to see nearby including cable cars, cinema and shopping centres. Conway castle is spectacular and the views from all around Colwyn Bay are breathtaking.
We had some great meals during our stay including delicious steaks, fancy pub food and a tasty Indian, which are all close by.
We are definitely planning to return to the lovely cottage and fascinating town. Seunghee is the perfect host and checked with us a few times whether she could improve our stay in any way, which she couldn't!
Top marks in all respects!

“Excellent accommodation”
I stayed at Strawberry Mill with my husband, daughter and her partner and our 15 month old grandson. The accommodation was excellent, and in lovely surrounding with everything you could possibly need. Seunghee Lee was very friendly and concerned that everything was in order during our stay. We received prompt return of our deposit on leaving. Would definitely consider staying here again. We considered it to be very good value for money.
Service was very good & fast. I liked everything about the place, well equiped, clean&cosy. Location is beautiful, with sea view from the window, has 5 acre tennis court & trampolin, which is very good, if you have kids;) Take away service available on request. it has a beautiful bath tub, which helps you to reenergize after long trip. We have been in Great Ormes bay which is 10 min. drive from Colwyn bay, beautiful resort Llandudno, Welsh Mountain Zoo is walking distance from the Straberry Mill, not pricey at all, like all zooes around UK, and it worth it especially when you have kids, Colwyn bay castle, 5 min. drive from place, nice place to spend day, especially if the weather is good, Bodnant gardens are fantastic, 15 min. drive from place, special plants, trees gives you atmosphere of relax & unwind mood;)

“a great value quiet cottage in a cental place for North Wales”
easy to find using owners directions, off the beaten track so very peaceful cottage with all amenities. we had an enjoyable time on our honeymoon, without travelling too far with our 6 month old son. The owner Seunghee Lee was helpful and at hand to help. A handy location to travel around North Wales and plenty to see and do. Really recommended, great value.
Response: Thank you so much for your invaluable review. I always aim at 5 stars for every item in the review and felt disheartened finding some four stars. I certainly will make sure everything will be back up to five stars and look forward to seeing you again. However, thank you for enjoying my welcome that included port wine and bouquet of roses. Please come back and it will be just as lovely as it could be.

“quality cottage in a prime location”
We were met by the owner Seunghee, who gave us biscuits and a lovely bunch of flowers and were shown into this lovely idylic cottage, which was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could want.
The cottage lies in a prime location in Upper Colwyn, with views out to sea, set in very well kept grounds, which boast a tennis court and childrens play area with a large trampoline that our son loved.
The cottage has a splendid roll top bath which is quite opulent, it also has free wifi, dvd and freeview, full central heating,
We loved everything that the cottage had to offer, it is well appointed and is an excellent base to visit all the North Wales attractions, we would recommend this cottage to anyone and will surely return as soon as possible............. Thanks Seughee and Family

Quiet location in beautiful surroundings. You can't go wrong with this modern well equipped and beautifully furnished cottage. I really can't think of anything you would need to bring, as the cottage has it all. Perhaps tea towels if you are an old wrinkly like me with an eversion to dish washers. You must visit Betws- y- Coed with its fantastic scenery, can recommend the Royal Oak for an excellent reasonably priced meal, great service, the parking at the rear was also reasonably priced. Just behind the pub are great walks of about 4km up to the lake, well signed just follow the blue or white markers. The welsh cakes at the station were also excellent. You will be made very welcome at the cottage by Seunghee (Owner) who will personally walk you through the cottage (you can just tell that she has a passion to ensure your stay will be just perfect) I won't spoil the surprise but we had a special welcoming gift from her. It just makes the difference & certainly gave me the wow factor. I would strongly recommend you arrive at the cottage via Kings Road (well-made road) If you approach Pen y Bryn Rd from the opposite direction then the road is extremely uneven. Hope you enjoy your stay at Strawberry Mill Cottage as much as we did.

We really enjoyed our stay at Strawberry Mill, although only stayed a couple of days the accomodation was very comfortable with everything you need.
Pesonal touches like fresh flowers on the table on arrival and the chocolates for my mum for Mothers day from the owner (Seunghee) made it special.
Would love to visit again

“Sweet home but also many places to visit: beautiful mountains and sceneries.”
I missed mountains as I live in plat land. This cottage is top of mountains and you can see noting but only sea and trees. I felt I was totally away from work. I didn't expect luxury bath and big garden above my cottage. I felt I am in expensive hotel and my children enjoyed jumping on the trampoline.
Response: Thank you so much that you came and enjoyed this place. I agree that the place seems away from everything although it is not! I am so pleased that you enjoyed your comfortable stay here. I hope you will be back.

“The perfect place to escape”
Wow!!
Strawberry Mill was warm, cosy, immaculate and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Seunghee's hand-written guidebook was packed with helpful tips to make sure we got the most out of the cottage and the surrounding area, and she was extremely welcoming and accommodating.
Our stay allowed us a fantastic break over the new years period to go for long walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside, and a tip-off from Seunghee took us to a gorgeous viewpoint overlooking the surrounding hills, forests and seaside towns. The local pub offers a lovely atmosphere for a romantic meal, and the village shops, take-aways and Strawberry Mill's inviting bath provide everything you could need for a night in.
I would have no hesitations in recommend Strawberry Mill to any couple or family and will definitely be coming back again.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind comments. I wish I could do more for my guests. Joy and happiness I have from this beautiful corner of the world could be shared. This was something I always wished for and am only grateful that you could enjoy it too. I give you kind regards and wish you well.
Strawberry Mill offered us the peace and tranquility we were looking for within the usual 'hectic' Christmas period. Located in a delightful woodland area, it offered plenty of opportunity to walk off any Christmas excess. The property is well equipped and very clean and comfortable and the Lee family are extremely accomodating. It is well situated and journeying to Llandudno, Conway and Abergele takes minutes.I would certainly recommend a vacationion in this lovely property.
Response: I admire your outdoor spirit to venture around this beautiful area. You certainlly did great justice to your trip I believe. I also hope your aching legs are a lot better now? I am sorry that you found one bathroom in the house was a bit of compromise. It is a traditional character house and putting a toilet downstair would have spoilt its charm hence I couldnt do it. But thank you so much you found all the other things in the house convenient and nice enough for your lovely time of spending Christmas. I also hope my candles, trees and decorations made your festive time truly inviting and cosy. I wish to see you again and all the best to both of you. With warm regards

“An unbelievable holiday cottage”
We would strongly recommend Strawberry Hill to the most discerning client. Our whole experience with the owners (the Lee family) and the beautifully maintained cottage was simple outstanding. We couldn't fault anything about our stay. The Lee's were so hospitable in every sense of the word - from our day of enquiry to our final departure day. The peace and tranquillity of Strawberry Hill was fantastic as was the surrounding country side. We wouldn't hesitate coming back. Look no further Strawberry Hill is a must! Greg and Trish November 2011
Response: Dear Greg and Trish Thank you for coming and enjoying the cottage. I like the travellers from abroad to bring different stories that then turn into the assets in the life. Affluence in knowledge is something I have been seeking. I look forward to seeing you again too.

“What a find, a little gem in a fantastic location”
This was a gorgeous cosy cottage in a perfect location. My Husband and I stayed here with our two 8 year old children. The cottage itself was lovely and immaculately clean. It had everything you require for a very comfortable stay. The garden was great too with a tennis court and trampoline which the children thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage itself is located in a very nice quiet residential area however it is in easy reach (by car) of the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy and Llandudno. I can assure you I am not easily pleased but this cottage is a real gem and very reasonably priced. We will definately be returning.
