The enclosed garden circles the barn and provides both a breakfast terrace and patio area for summer dining. The barn is approached by a gravel drive and has parking for 4 cars. There is a secure garage (for one car) which provides adequate storage for bicycles, buggies, golf trollies etc.
The barn was originally a farm building and is situated on the outskirts of the family farm with stunning views over the fields, the King's Beck stream and meadows where South Devon cattle graze in the summer months. The farm is a member of the High Level Stewardship scheme which promotes the conservation of wildlife. The barn gets its name from the Kings Beck stream that runs alongside the barn, where guests are welcome to have a go at fishing!
A wide range of wildlife have been seen from the barn including Barn owls, Heron, Woodpeckers & Red Deer and there has been a sighting of an Otter along Kings Beck! The barn is set in an idyllic location for bird watchers, and there is an active owl box with resident Barn Owl in view of the kitchen & family sitting room.
There are a variety of beautiful footpaths leading from the barn which link up with the famous Weavers Way network of country walks. Maps & details of a variety of walks are available in the barns information pack.
The quiet lanes are great for cyclists. The Weavers Way which runs from Cromer to Great Yarmount via Aylsham & North Walsham is a 56 mile disused raillway line providing a fantastic cycle route, as well as the Marriot Way a 21 mile footpath & bridleway that runs from Aylsham to Hellesdon via Reepham.
The barn is set in a perfect location for those wanting a golfing holiday with eight golf courses within 15 miles, including Royal Cromer, Sherkingham & the Wensum Valley Golf club.
Changeover day is usually a Friday or Monday.

"Absolutely fantastic from start to finish!"
Kings Beck barn is by far the best weekend away I've ever had.
The whole barn was spotless, the owner was wonderful and came to meet us (a tiny bit hard to find the first time you go but after that it's easy!) and supplied a bottle of wine and delicious cake when we arrived. At every opportunity we were offered more than you'd expect from a weekend rental, from the Egyptian cotton sheets, to the fresh flowers in the kitchen and dining area, it was flawless! After searching around, Kings Beck was significantly cheaper than other stays in North Norfolk but from past experience the quality was far better also. We are already planning our next visit!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted that you enjoyed your weekend break and look forward to welcoming you back.

After following excellent directions we found the barn and were delighted to discover it was even better than the photographs and description given on the web site. It was clean, spacious yet warm and cosy at the same time. Everything we needed for our weekend was provided and we would not hesitate to book again next time we holiday in that area.

"Beautiful luxurious barn, family of 10 and 2 dogs had a wonderful break."
The barn is beautiful and huge, even with 10 of us and 2 dogs we never felt on top of each other. Beds are huge and lovely egyption cotton sheets. The barn really is a home from home with all you would possibly need along with lots of lovely personal touches eg;; homemade cake, wine, toiletries etc. Communication with the owner with Sarah was fantastic and she really went out of her way to assist where possible. We were extremely lucky with the english weather so able to make full use of the outside space as well which was beautiful.
Thank you for your comments. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay & we hope to be able to welcome you again soon. Kindest regards, Sarah
