An Cala, "the haven" in Scottish Gaelic, is an ideal place to spend the holidays. Situated in the quiet village of Nethy Bridge, the house overlooks the River Nethy and Abernethy Forest. The garden goes all the way down to the river, where herons and otters live. Many nearby walking and biking trails are in the area, and An Cala is ideally situated from which to set off on super road bike trips throughout the Cairngorm National Park. A golf course and the tennis courts are only a 10 minute walk away. The RSPB centre at Loch Garten is nearby and is a terrifc place to spot the Ospreys. Coming home to An Cala at the end of the day and sitting by the log fire, or having a BBQ in the private garden is where you will begin to experience some holiday peace and relaxation.
