The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom, with twin beds, is adjacent to the other bathroom. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated, with the main bedroom and lounge leading out onto a large balcony, ideal for sundowners and al fresco dining. It is well ventilated and remains cool in summer. It has air con in the two bedrooms and the lounge/dining area. Modern kitchen is fully fitted with all mod cons even a kettle and toaster!. Towels and bed linen are provided , please provide own beach towels. A weekly clean is provided.

The resort is situated close to the centre of the fishing village of Alvor , with its narrow cobbled streets and wide range of restaurants. The beautiful beech of Alvor is about a 10 min walk from the complex and is one of the best beaches in the Algarve.
The resort is set in 18 acres of sub-tropical gardens, pools and waterfalls. Facilities are extensive and include a large swimming pool, indoor and paddling pool, two floodlit tennis courts, a putting green, sauna, jacuzzi, health centre, poolside restaurant & bar and gourmet restaurant. If golf is your passion, then there a number of courses within a short drining distance including Alto golf (10 mins drive)with discounted green fees for guests.
The Algarve / West Algarve region


The Algarve has a temperate climate almost all year round and boasts over 300 days of sunshine a year. Alvor is situated between the towns of Portimao and Lagos and has one of the best beaches in the Algarve. The town itself is a lovely fishing village with an array of wonderful restaurants and bars but is more suited to a family holiday. Those looking for a more lively setting, then the night life of Praia da Rocha is a short Taxi ride away. Other areas of interest include the Monchique mountains, Sagres, Cape St Vincent and a host of Golf Clubs all within a short driving distance. The town is well serviced with supermarkets, banks, ATM machines and an internet cafe.
The Alvor / Alto Golf and Country Club area
Alvor is an old costal fishing village, which is now a popular holiday destination. It is well located facing a natural lagoon opening onto the sea. The Alto Country Club is situated just a 5 minute walk away.. Other attractions close by include Slide & Splash (Waterpark), Golf, Zoomarine, Shopping (Portimo). For golf enthuasists there are a fabulous selection of golf courses in the area which I would be happy to advise on.
The beautiful sandy beach with small coves tucked under the cliffe is only a 10 minute walk away.
Watersports enthusiasts will enjoy the fantastic facilities on offer, whilst sun worshippers can avail of the sunloungers & umbrellas (there are a limited supply available free of charge). The beach bars serve breakfast lunch & dinner on the beach, an ideal setting for watching the sunset & lights twinkling over Lagos.
