Fantastic Villa with super sea views in a quiet residential area.

I am always tempted when I find somewhere I really love to write a bad review to make sure it is always available, but that would be totally untruthful and unfair! This villa is very much a home from home in a quiet, residential area between Luz and Burgau. It has three large double bedrooms, all with patio doors, big bathrooms and with a good size, well equipped kitchen and a dining room with a lovely, large table and chairs overlooking the pool. The comfortable upstairs lounge offers fantastic views across to the sea and we watched amazing sunrises from the balcony which runs the length of the back of the villa! In the evening, we saw the setting sun from the smaller balcony off the lounge to the front of the property. The pool and patio area are very spacious with loungers in the sun and patio furniture under the shade of the balcony. I would suggest the extra cost of heating the pool would be worth doing especially for little ones. The barbecue was great and we used it most evenings. Andy had thoughtfully provided a folder with many suggestions of places to visit, shop and things to do. The walk to Luz along the cliffs is a must! We found the Inter Marche supermarket in Lagos best for grocery shopping. Natasha and Andy are the best caretakers and the villa was spotless on arrival, with a midweek towel change and villa clean making for an even lazier holiday for us! The gardens and pool are maintained weekly and were in top condition. There is a coffee shop called Tomik open for breakfast and lunch and a restaurant, Lobelia's, open for lunch and evening meals just a few minutes walk back to the 'main' road which both served good food at a reasonable price. We went to both four or five times and we’re not disappointed with the food or service. Overall, it was pretty perfect and we plan on returning to Casa Luar soon! … see more

Great Holiday

First time in Luz, lovely pace for a chilled out holiday. Villa was perfect. Four adults and two children. Any issues or questions were sorted out straight away mostly with in the hour.Len was very helpful and always eager to help.Everything is within a ten mins walk.Cheapest drinks are Kelly's Bar £2.60u and Barbers £2.50u a pint. Just one thing to add is the supermarkets are very expensive compared to the UK. Thanks Len. … see more
